Dang, forgot you can't capture HDR image from the tv with the PS4pro. Should have picked day time for my Horizon photos but I am still satisfied with the overall shots.

Effie was released today on PC...
Never heard of Effie. Looks very nice though. How is it?
@PernicioEnigma: @uninspiredcup: Yeah, the game is beautiful. It is made by a new studio from Spain. I don't know how many developers there are in Spain, but they do stylized graphics well. Effie and Rime are both beautiful games. There are probably others as well.
The funny thing is this game came out on Playstation last year and people didn't notice it because it wasn't a movie game. LOL
I waited for the PC version of course. It is a nice old school 3D action-adventure/platformer. There is no bullshit inventory management, crafting, etc.. Just pick up and play old school fun. :)
Halo CE. I forgot just how relentless the Flood were. Blows my mind how good Bungie portrayed them on the OG Xbox
@pinkribbonscars: The Library level is probably the worst level ever.
I love it but I guess I'm a masochist lol. No idea how me and my brother did it on legendary when we were younger...

It is frustrating, has copy and paste level design and goes on for way too long. You guys were brave to endure that much pain and suffering.

I agree with the repetitive level design but that's a flaw of most of Halo CEs levels, so it's unfair to apply it just to The Library. I like it because it shows just how dangerous and relentless the Flood are, and because of the twist at the end.
Some more Halo CE
@BassMan: I had no idea about this game, shame on game journalist sites for having little to no coverage on it. 3D platformers especially ones that aren't on Nintendo platforms are pretty rare. Yet gaming sites keep tabs on every dime a dozen metroidvania game no matter how obscure or bland it is.
Quiet a few games this gen are developed in Spain. For example the most popular Spanish made game right now is Temtem. Some other more relevant examples would be Aragami, Ziggurat, Spacelords and Blasphemous. I believe the Spanish government were providing some funding to the indie development scene to help grow their country's game development market.
@NoodleFighter: That is the problem with gaming journalism (especially the big sites). There is a curated list of games that get exposure based on advertising dollars. Many good games slip through the cracks and don't get exposure. Hollow Knight didn't even get a review from GS until the Switch version came out and that game is amazing.
Anyway, Effie is a decent game. It is short though and there is not that much content and depth to the gameplay. I give it a 6/10. I enjoyed my time with the game and would recommend it for fans of 3D platformers. A good first effort from a small development team.
@pinkribbonscars: Is this any good? Been thinking about picking it up.
Skyrim VR with many mods installed, dungeon is from Beyond Skyrim with Ordinator, Wildcat, VRIK and a bunch of other shit.

I've only played like 3 hours but
The good: Looting/Crafting and zombie killing (melee combat is amazing). Artstyle looks awesome in VR, like you're inside a comic. The story is mildly interesting
The Bad: Maps are small and samey, human AI is dumb (like Alien Isolation dumb, but even dumber), characters behavior and quest design is nonsensical at times
Just out of curiousity, what are you comp specs? And do you (know how to) monitor your FPS during VR? How do you make sure the mods you installed for Skyrim VR don't tank performance?
@Pedro: Not bad for me on PC. Load times were decently quick, but the annoyance was more that it needed to load between areas, which weren't all that large and fairly barren. It could be a console issue, or just an issue with certain systems, which I luckily avoided.
My bigger gripe was with the micro-stutter and/or poor frame-timing. I lock 4K/60, but consistently get stutter when traversing to newer areas of a map.

I believe you can set Steam VR to track the performance of all games under advance settings showing a FPS graph.
As for Skyrim VR's performance, I guess it depends on which and how many mods you install, have about 70-80 though with a non-over-done-ENB and it pretty much runs like butter. I can take a screenshot of my mod list if you want, 0 crashes in about 60 odd hours of gameplay or dumbshit happening, Vortex auto-sorts it all out. My PC is Ryzen 2600X, 16gb ram and Super GTX 1660, which I think is roughly mid-end as I understand it.

I think I tried to use that Steam VR stat thing (Open VR?) but didnt understand it. And nah I don't play Bethesda games. i despise Skyrim with a passion.
Halo 2. Really disappointing compared to Halo CE
@pinkribbonscars: Steam VR gives many more options than Oculus, one of the things dislike, facebook trying to make it like apple store where they control as much as possible with practically no information or customization on the users end.
"a patch has been released"
Very informative.
Completed my Platinum trophy for Horizon Zero Dawn.
Tempted to play the ultra hard mode, the game is very fun on higher difficulty, the robots is very tanky and you need a lot of tools to bring them down. Highly recommends to PS4 owners still not played this gem. There is Story mode for those only wanting minimal combat knowledge, just explore the world and story.
@pinkribbonscars: Picked up Walking Dead today, played a wee bit. VR implementation seems really good, better than Boneworks, though not quite as good as Pavlov and Onward.
Liking the slower pacing of the game, reminds me of the very first Resident Evil game, usually hate survival mechanics, so, see how that goes.
Even though I make fun of Gear4, gears 5 is sure a pretty game. Thanks for game pass pc version, I'm able to play this game .
@uninspiredcup It's pretty cool huh. It has it's flaws but it's pros are really good
Continuing my Bungie marathon with... Marathon
TWD: Saints & Sinners
tried to help his dumb ass
VR kicks ass
@pinkribbonscars: Just unlocked this, neat.
Does the bow get better? It seems kinda underpowered unless you can 100% get a headshot.

Havent used the bow yet, Did the latest update break the graphics for you? I'm getting tons of pop in I didnt notice before
-edit-, Hmm, maybe it wasn't the update, but the new areas I've only just started exploring (Bywater and Ward areas specifically). Maybe they unoptimized compared to earlier maps.
Finished Spiderman PS4 DLC, didn't bother with Screwball challenges even though she seems to play a role in the DLC side activities like Taskmaster in the base game.
By the way, is there any other way to share Switch screenshots direct to pc or cloud? Posted a screenshot of Super Robot Wars X to twitter and the compression is terrible.

Def got some performance dips, specifically when in combat. They deployed a few patcesh that sorted a lot of it, but there are occ small dips. Nothing major.
The dev is pretty good at taking feedback, they changed crouch based on user-feedback fairly fast and lit as I reply to you now one of them replied back regarding how weak-sauce the bow is.
