The first game was practically perfect in every way. There are quite literally no flaws that I can think of.

The only ting wrong with it was that it had to end.

Meh the lenght was definitely a flaw for me. It didn't bother me much because the game came with an awesome package, but if it didn't, I wouldn't have bought it at full price at all--even when I ended up enjoying the hell out of Portal.

Also, I came out of it thinking that the idea could have been implemented so much better--they could have done so much more with it: Portal 2. One of the reasons why I'm so excited for it in comparison to many other sequels coming out this year--because it came from a game, that while awesome, improvements could have made it that much of a more significant experience.

Hell I ended up liking Portal more than the majority of featured lenght games this gen, when I relate that with what Portal 2 might come to offer in the long run, I can't help but be very excited for it. I love puzzle games, they're a wonderful break from all the same crap we've been getting recently, when I see a team putting this much effort in a game within this genre, I'm in, it's as simple as that.

Good news, everyone!

According to Valve themselves, once a certain number of potatoes are collected GLaDOS will "overclock" the "CPUs" (read: a multiplier unlocks on the progress bars). So assuming Valve likes round numbers, we shouldn't be that far away (less than 15k potatoes to go if the multiplier unlocks at 300k).

Ugh the secret level in AAAAA!!! is such a *BONK*! And which levels contain the potato bins? I might try to get a potato for that.
