Nintendo Direct 2/13 - Bayonetta 2, X, GBA Virtual C & more!

I didn't saying anything about it not being Nintendos fault, it absolutely is. Of course they could have fixed it by making a more powerful system but that's not exactly an option now so they're stuck trying to make something with this shit situation they got themselves into.

The only way to do that is with more games and the only way to get more games is to pump money into a failing console, is that wise? No, not really. I'd rather see them release a couple of great titles for the WiiU and move on than bankrupt themselves trying to release loads of games for 5 million (or whatever the number is now) customers and even then there's no guarantee those new games will draw many new customers in.

You're right though, these Nintendo Directs don't really help. Constantly showing the same games just serves to highlight how little there actually is.

Name drops are fine but the don't mean much, we know they're working on Zelda, we can probably guess some other things they're working on, doesn't mean they'll be coming out any time soon.

Need some more release dates for SSB and X

I'm gonna have to get a WiiU after I'm done with Dark Souls 2 when ever that is. I might end up playing Dark Souls 2 for a year or so. By then maybe Zelda will be out. Maybe in a few years the PS4 will have some games worth playing. I haven't seen anything that impresses me yet.

How can you even compare this kind of lineup to what will be available on X1/PC/PS4 in 2014? Nothing on that list can even be mentioned when comparing against titles like TW3

Truth. Why do Nintendo fans get excited about the few crumbs thrown their way?

The gameplay of X looks like xenoblade witch is great since thats what was good about that game. Now I hope they can give me characters and a story I actually give a dam about.Also seems like wiiU gets so little love. I saw alot of 3ds stuff but wiiu seemed lacking.

@halvedlife: We know about more Wii U games in 2014 than we do for either ps4 or Xbox One. Why does a February update on in development games matter so much? Hasn't anyone heard of e3?

There's plenty we haven't heard about for every console.

thats my thing, ps4 nor xbone has nothng out for 5 months but ppl here love to get nintendo shxt. focus on the positive and not on the negative its not a good way to live

@Mario1331: People seem to forget e3's a thing on here, for some reason. I don't get it. Anybody with any semblance of sense understands company's hold back game announcements until e3.

Nah, I didn't mind it too much. I know what to expect on these.

People complained just as much about the massive drought last year when the Wii U was not a year old.

If this was E3 or if Nintendo had specifically stated that they would be showing something huge here today, I would be with everyone criticizing this. New Wii-U game would have been nice to see, but there's still E3, and Nintendo could have another scheduled between now and E3 as well.

@Slashkice: I'm not too worried about it. Nintendo's internal studios have something up their sleeve. They have a handful of internal studios and only Mario Kart's May release to show for it. They're all working on something, and I'd bet some of those games we haven't heard about are coming out this year. Alongside that, there's X, Bayonetta, Smash Bros, Hyrule Warriors, plus Yarn Yoshi and Shin Megami X Fire Emblem that don't have release dates yet.

I have a feeling I'll have plenty to play on my Wii U this year, plus all the great stuff that's coming to 3ds.

The problem is that they should show more new WiiU stuff. It's like they barely care about it. They need to convince people to get a WiiU and that ND won't do the job. I'm seriousy getting worried about the WiiU. Also Nobody gives a crap about Steel Driver!

Main reason I purchased a WiiU besides W101 which maybe getting a sequel.

I hope for E3, because a lot more should have been in that direct.

That Boyonetta 2 trailer was awesome. I'm getting less and less interested with Mario Kart the more I see of it, they need to show X a heap more, I'd be making Monolift Soft create a video of X just for showing off at ND,E3 etc, I know it would probably push the game back a month but at this rate there will be no one to buy the game with how poorly the system is doing. They need to garner hype right now, not at E3, not next month, right now,

The ND was satisfying. I didn't expect much so it beat that.

If they were to release them on both systems, then the Wii U wouldn't have any advantage.

I think you watched the wrong Direct then, because my sources say that Phoenix Wright X Layton is still arriving in Europe and Australia in March.

There is no North American Release date.
