They are streaming footage right now.
Its hard to say, they showed so little of it. I'm just hoping its a bit more of an RPG this time around, but I'm sure it will be good either way.meetroid8

Still have static lifeless faces. Nothing RPG related shown.Had I not been a fan of ME1, and enjoyed ME2 that video wouldnt have persuaded me to buy ME3. It would have put me to sleep though.
I'm curious, why does Voice Command require Kinect? I would think you could accomplish the same exact thing with Headsets (for consoles) and mics (for PC).

They've made the combat more kinetic, giving you the tools to be more aggressive and maneuverable instead of mostly waiting behind cover for your powers to recharge. So that seems like a good thing. The combat looks more lively and dynamic. The level design looks as boring as ever though. Just these long flat hallways. They appear to have done nothing with the dialog system. Reportedly they've broadened the skill tree.
Looks good so far and you have to realize thats its only going to get better what what we get to see today. Not sure if anyone else noticed but there seems to be a very noticeable graphical upgrade as well.

I didn't like the fact that it wants to be Gears of War so badly. It even has a context button, rolling, and roadie running now.

You're right. Improving the shooting is definitely a bad thing, even if it doesn't in any way affect the RPG elements of the game. I mean, who wants the shooting to be more fun? Pfft.

The combat looks exponetially better than the first two games, the level design is better, the cover mechanic is smoother, the gunplay is much better, the omni-blade is very nice, much less jarring than Deus Ex Humam Revolution's takedowns, the cinematics blend in so well with the game, it even allows you to go stealthy, I like that. Also, if you haven't seen the second part of GT's exclusive footage of the last 10 minutes or so of the opening mission, watch it, it's probably the best footage out the at the moment.

I dunno... I don't think they changed it enough. The combat looked just like ME2 with better melee. I was kinda hoping they would kick it up a notch somehow. But still, it was too little gameplay to get a grasp of all the games features.
Too little gameplay shown to make a conclusion, but what I did see made it look more like a shooter first, RPG second. Even more so than ME2. Still psyched for this game however.
I did notice a screenshot that had Ashley in it. Still hate her new look.

"Improving the game" and "blatantly stealing from Gears of War" are not the same thing. From what I saw it was an improvement, so... All I saw was a Mass Effect game that wanted to play just like Gears.
