2d mario is still better than lbp but no that much better

i love the level editors in lbp the only problem is people arent makeing fun levels, just boring ones

Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros 3 are miles better not saying Little Big Planet is a bad game but it can't compete with those 2D Mario masterpieces.

You can make your own custom mario levels easily just by searching for an editor on google. Best of all its free!

It's not even close. The gameplay in that video was so slow that it was painful to even watch.

the level creation was well done, but the mechanics are way too sloppy and floaty for a mario game. Mario is known for its great platforming mechanics

Don't get me wrong, LBP is fun and I will probably get it eventually, but the gameplay is way to slow to be anything close to mario.

It's simple, with LBP's level editor you can create any level that you want and you can take it as far as your imagination wants to go. You can also recreate levels from other platformers therefore making them obsolete. I don't understand how people say the LBp's platforming is too easy when all platformers are easy and simple in gameplay mechanics. What makes platformers difficult is the level. You can easily make a difficult level in LBP to please the hardcore crowd.

LBP plays the same as mario and both are equally simple in gameplay but LBP totally crushes the mario franchsie with a custom level editor which mario does not have. In the end LBP has the endless replay value to back it up while mario does not. LBP is therefore the best platformer of ALL TIME.

User generated content doesnt make LBP the best platformer of all time. If New Super Mario Brothers didnt exist, you mightve gotten away with that claim.
