I think there's a big flaw in that idea.

If I were to trust Gamespot I wouldn't care what score they put out. If the Metacritic average was a 46, and Gamespot gave the game a 10/10, and I trust Gamespot's opinion, then I'd go with Gamespot.

If I use Metacritic at all it's to read a handful of other reviews. I'm not silly enough to think the number next to a game's name on Metacritic means anything much. Why would I care about the average of scores from reviewers I don't trust?

"100 reviewers I've never heard of gave this game a 4/10, but this one reviewer that I've trusted for the last 5 years, and has helped me discover dozens of awesome games, gave it a 9/10, so I guess I'm going to take the word of all the reviewers I've never heard of" :roll:

exacly this is the problem that metacritic consist from different/more peopel with different scoring system. but with GS they use the same scoring system.

howeverthe two versions are not identical. I played Borderlands 2 with 2560x1400, 60fps, max settings, large fov, k/m, etc and ps3 barely do 1280x720, no AA, 30fps, low settings, small fov, controller, etc.
