Assassins Creed has improved with every single game.
Did you know they have 6 teams working on Revelations?
You can do what I do and just not play them. I will never understand why some get so upset about certain games when all they have to do is just not buy them.CanYouDiglt
just my thought, if you don't like it don't buy it, i don't see why tc cares

AC2 was superior to ACB in every way. the combat in ACB is broken and the assassin recruiting thing is tacked on. the multiplayer is all brotherhood has over 2.

No they don't. Ha. Stealth edits. Gotta love em.Nope. I didn't really enjoy Ass Creed 2 so them making more sequels doesn't 'push' at all.Mr_Cumberdaleso much milkage tho, it one the same level as cod just not as popular
Having played AC, AC2 and AC:B and seeing that there was no drop in quality between AC2 and AC:B despite the short development period, I'll certainly be buying next years installment. Especially since AC:R looks amazing also.
dont they have recycled maps and gameplay and mundane side tasks?nitromuffinAC: Masayaf, Damascus, Acre and Jerusalem ACII: Florence, Venice, Flori, Monteriggioni, Tuscany ACB: Rome (which is about 3 times the size of Venice) Yes, totally recycled. And only the first game had "mundane" side tasks. I guess its clear you haven't played II or Brotherhood.
i don't know, the combat in brotherhood was such a disappointment coming off of II. you at least had a chance of dying in II in a fight, but it's next to impossible in brotherhood. oh, and once you get that stupid crossbow, any challenge goes right out the window.princeofshapeirThat's really odd considering I died far more in BH than I did in II. Trying to get full synch on some missions was incredibly hard. I still haven't even got it all.

are there really any distinguishing factors between the maps?nitromuffinPlenty. If you spend time exploring, you'd find them.

Nope, they keep delivering quality over quantity so I'm not tired. Plus this could be the last one...er...sort of. Ezio's story may wrap up in AC: Revelations so that can only mean one thing. New assassin, new story, new additions to the formula, same great Ubisoft. :)
Oh, and I'd prefer Assassin's Creed over Call of Crappy any day IMO.
Nope. Considering, with every new installment there are signifigant changes/ improvements, I am not sick of it.
They might be good now but with the series coming out every year it will eventually become stale just like COD, Tony Hawk, Guitar Heroes and the EA sports titles. That's why I always feel that a series has its sequels take a break or else they will get old real fast and end up getting a lot of hate.

I personally have hard time playing AC2 after beating ACB. Other than the story and the cities, Brotherhood definitely is a step up. There are many reasons, but I have to say the addition of quick combat and the 100% sync options (and the addition of silent projectiles) drastically increased the stealth aspects. You have to understand ACB isn't trying to be a Devil May Cry; if the combat is too easy, it is intended that way because long combat in AC2 completely destroyed the stealth pace.i played and beat the first 2 and idk it seems like a franchise you shouldnt put out every year considering the competitive combat and tasks, seems like people would get sick of it fast
All major car companies release new cars for each line every year. Do you get sick of them doing that?on the gamespot homepage it says there gonna release another major ac title in 2012, this makes it 4 years in a row, is anyone else tired of assassins creed?

lol? seriously? u havent played ac 2? every city has a great and different look and feel.
No. The only reason I dislike CoD having yearly releases is because it directly changes the industry. Look at Battlefield 3, and all the marketing just attacking CoD, and look at all the games with CoD inspired MP. Resistance 2's MP was great, but it was sacrificed for a more CoD like experience.
AC though, it's doing it's own thing. There aren't really that many games out there directly competiting with it or trying to be more like AC. Now if EA creates a game and the tagline is "Above and Beyond the Creed" and we start getting a bunch of AC clones and the third person adventure series starts to wither and die then I'll complain :P
I never played brotherhood, the series pretty much died after 2 for melightleggysame, there all to similar
