Wonder if people are going to complain about IGN scoring it lower than inFamous 1, despite claiming it's a better game.

Good score from IGN, and expected for this game. Can't wait to play it come June 7.

You're right that we're in no position to judge right now, but the previews made it look like the best looking open world game to date with battles on a scale never seen before in such a game

Good score but it does seem that the game plays almost the same as the last one which I didn' care about. It does seem that they have made the cities more vibrant and interesting as well as making the side missions mean something this time. Still probably won't pick up the game unless I see a $20 gc from Amazon even though I have to play UC3 beta. I just really thought the first game was overratted.

I read the ign review. It wasint to bad compared to some other ign reviews. I just wished he talked about the meh melle combat more since that was one of his negatives. Also im happy the things that carry over from infamous 1 are all trophy related execpt 1. Since I lost my data but I got the plat so I still get rewarded for my work on infamous 1.

Well besides tonitorsi I'm the biggest Uncharted fan(well half kidding). I dont' even think tonitorsi even owns his UC2 copy anymore and I have 2 copies and that is the only game I play online religiously. Just just love me some Uncharted. Thanks Pikminmaniac as I would owe you if you do that.

But yeah with the exception of a few, we knew they were going to get a 9.0 which is basically the new 9.5. All the 8.5s they've been giving is the new 9.0!

anyways, the graphics are at least a 9.0. i mean, it's an open-world game. lackluster melee? it's not a melee game like DMC or GoW, you know.

They don't really go into detail about enemy types. For an open world game, graphics should be at least a 9.0. Red Dead Redemption is basically a 10 for open world graphics..

psh. Red Dead was buggy, glitchy, and had a ton of framerate dips. in screenshots it looked great, but in motion it did not. graphics was an 8. inFamous 2 looks and runs much better than Red Dead. graphics isn't just about what looks pretty, but also how well it runs.

Unfortunately he doesn't anymore, I think it's cause of the credit he got from it in order to buy other games, like AC: Brotherhood.:P It sucks when you gotta sell games for others sometimes. I did that a lot at the beginning of the generation when I became independent and started buying my own s***.:P

Hope you enjoy it, I still gotta bump up some UC2 sometimes and maybe we can have a game sometimes.:P

they're not emphasizing on melee. they just added a weapon and some animations because the first inFamous the melee wasn't that great. it's there to make beating up people/monsters look great. if they were emphasizing on melee, they would have added something else besides a 'press Triangle when the combo meter is full' option. the fact is, they don't. what they're emphasizing on are the powers, not melee. it was just there to beat people up, not to produce combos like Bayonetta.

maybe i should comment on Mass Effect's lame melee system as well? even if melee is not what the game is about. it's like saying 'the magic mechanics in GoW is lackluster' when in fact it's a melee game to begin with. see what i did there?

also, the graphics are great. best graphics on an open-world console game no doubt.

I didn't like the first one but this one looks interesting and quite frankly much bigger and better. I still won't buy it day one though.:P As for the score, was expecting a 9.5 from IGN and GS but ehh, looks like it'll be a 9.0 here too probably.:?

Cant tell about InFamous 2 yet but RDR graphically is incredible, especially in motion.

Game looks intense and fun. You get to see some of the variety of enemies in this clip. The first guy playing sucks, but Greg Miller does better. Both of them barely use any of their powers and they don't do any combos that I know you're capable of doing in this game so take that into consideration when judging the gameplay.

I wanted to hear more about the powers, but still great, my 2nd most anticipated game this year.
