anyways, the graphics are at least a 9.0. i mean, it's an open-world game. lackluster melee? it's not a melee game like DMC or GoW, you know.

But they try to emphasize on melee with a new melee weapon so yes if sucker punch is trying to enhance the melee Colin is going to comment on it if it's Not amazing. You haven't seen the graphics yet, none of us have.they're not emphasizing on melee. they just added a weapon and some animations because the first inFamous the melee wasn't that great. it's there to make beating up people/monsters look great. if they were emphasizing on melee, they would have added something else besides a 'press Triangle when the combo meter is full' option. the fact is, they don't. what they're emphasizing on are the powers, not melee. it was just there to beat people up, not to produce combos like Bayonetta.
maybe i should comment on Mass Effect's lame melee system as well? even if melee is not what the game is about. it's like saying 'the magic mechanics in GoW is lackluster' when in fact it's a melee game to begin with. see what i did there?
also, the graphics are great. best graphics on an open-world console game no doubt.
Funny because mass effect 3 is doing exactly what infamous 2 is doing . Emphasizing on melee by creating a class about it. Sucker punch has said themselvesnthat actually want melee to be effective in this game so their emphasizing it itsnclear you have no ideanwhat it's like to make a game people won't hate. Why would they changenthe controls for a single mechanic? Instead they emphasize upon it by adding new melee moves and a weapon( which is also upgradeable) see what I did there? And no sir red dead has a map nearly twice the size of infamous and keeps it's graphical wonder. As does crysis 2.your logic behind melee is false at every turn ... In your logic you say it's there too look good if it was why would the dev themselves say they want to expand upon melee systems and make people actually want to melee including a weapon , moves and the ability to upgrade all of them.
