Here are the pics:
This looks like a collectors edition with extra HD video content..
Rumors say that the discs are 50GB each, not 25GB.
What's up with the Mercedes logo (top right corner)? Sponsor or something? lolThis topic is locked from further discussion.

No game on any gaming on any gaming platform this gen is going to take 150 gigs of disc storage space. For example.... The Witcher (full install, thats more then what would compressed disc data) comes in around 13 gigs on my PC. Age of Conan is the largest game I have personnally seen fully installed, and it comes in at a whopping 37.5 Gig.
[QUOTE="Nidget"]IF true, cows have been majorly owned after the amount of bashing the 360 has got this gen for multiple discs. Zero_epyon3 discs holding 6 GB each or 3 discs holding 45 gb each? Who wins out? But it's still 3 discs, i don't care how many gigs it's on, it's still 3 discs.

The other two discs are simply bonus material and not needed or even desired for playing the game.
Laughing at what though? The FACT that Turn10 put out 2 incredible games in the time it took PD to finish one? The FACT that Forza3 will easily out score any GT game, yet again? Just what would they be laughing at other then the fact that their prized racer is no longer the Sim champ? The 3rd disc contains video footage of Kaz and Kaz Harai sitting around laughing at Forza 3.
Nike_Air
GT1 came in a double-wide case, but had one disc. It had an extra booklet. I'm also sure that's some collectors edition prototype design.
EDIT: I thought it was GT2, fixed to say GT1.

Nedemis
It was just a joke.
[QUOTE="zarshack"]25 gb per layer on the blu-ray disc. The can go upto 200 gb apparantly, i also believe i read that they have managed to make 400gb Blu-rays aswell.Thing is, standard BluRay players like the PS3 can only read up to two layers. More than that requires firmware upgrades that may not entirely be possible. Movies won't need to hit 200g, so standard BD players wont have an issue. PS3's can update easily via PSN so anything that needs more than dual layers is an easy fix. Besides that, most hardware can take firmware updates via USB, so it's not an issue anymore.[QUOTE="toxicmog"] 25GB only MGS 4 has used a 50GB discHuusAsking
EDIT: fixed to make sense lol.
[QUOTE="zero_snake99"]GT2 came in a double-wide case, but had one disc. It had an extra booklet. I'm also sure that's some collectors edition prototype design.Nedemisit actually came with two disc seeing how one was career and the other was arcade mode. :| Which one had 1 disc then? Hold on lemme check. Nvm, I was thinking of GT1 lawlz. Same idea though. Still only needed 1 disc, but was a double wide anyway.
IF true, cows have been majorly owned after the amount of bashing the 360 has got this gen for multiple discs. NidgetI agree. The Cows would have to eat some humble pie if GT required disc swapping. However, if this game requires disc swapping using 3 BluRay discs, then it's going to be one mamma jamma of a game. But like others, I'm betting that the other discs contain extras, which I could give a poop about.
3 discs? how could they fit all the content onto one single blu-ray disc?aero250Its probably extra stuff. So maybe Disc 1 is the game. Disc 2 is "The Making of...." in 1080p. Disc 3 is...I dunno, something else :P I remember when I bought GoW2 and I got 2 DVDs I was so happy! I love those "The Making of...." videos, and this game gave us an entire disc of them! I think every game should have them. I like marveling at all the work that went into my favorite game :D
prolly be just like one of the other ones released, a sim disc, an arcade disc and then maybe an online one..
[QUOTE="Nike_Air"]i'd watch that :)The 3rd disc contains video footage of Kaz and Kaz Harai sitting around laughing at Forza 3.
ReaperV7
I'd watch it twice.

lol, that would be pretty funny :PBecause we see 3 shades of color on a jewel case the game is shipping with 3 disks?...
I am sorry that's just sad..not sad for the fans to make the assumtion or be excited..Thats just being a fan..
Sad for a developer to "leak" something and not follow though with it…but then again ...that's beentheir m.o. for a decade.
Well, so much for "OMG FORZA 3 COMES ON 2 DISCS!! THAT'S SO 1998!!" I wouldn't doubt that GT5 will require mandatory installs to avoid loadtime issues.

What's on the 2nd Forza disc anyway?
I never heard complaints about it being a two disc after F3 came out. I guess the scores were enough to silence nay-sayers.
What's on the 2nd Forza disc anyway?

Gotta love all the lemmings flocking in here with the assumption that GT5 is confirmed to be 3 discs.
Apparently the thought of having something to retaliate with for FM3's multi disks facepalm-ing goodness sends the possibility of it being the COLLECTOR'S EDITION, pointed out numerously in the first page, right over their heads.
Logic is hard.

Yeah, that was the disc. Also, add me on PSN, i really need a better friend list.
I doubt it's 3 discs unless it's a collectors edition as I doubt with blu-ray discs the game would have 3 discs worth of content.
fabz_95
Agreed, three discs of content seems super unlikely. Looks like a collectors edition, but we shall see.
Wow. The irony in this. Seriously.xsubtownerx
I'm going on the assumption that this thread is a bad joke. Otherwise my head is going to explode scanners-style.
Besides, it's quite obviously a collector's edition -- my guess is 1 disk for GT5, 1 disk for bonus video content and 1 "disk" for a special-edition booklet/manual.

Agreed. The blue one obviously looks like a case for BR, possibly videos of dev diaries, documentation of the creation of the game, among other goodies.

Don't you get it? GT5 is ONE (1) disc. Not 2 (like forza 3), not 3.
The other 2 discs is unnecessary stuff.
Stop comparing it to Froza case.

Not the point, it's the hypocricy that follows, forza's second disc is NOT needed to play the game, yet they were bashed, and now when the same thing happens to gt, now you suddenly defend it?Gotta love all the lemmings flocking in here with the assumption that GT5 is confirmed to be 3 discs.
