I'm on a first name basis with the bartender down stairs... Why would I come here for sympathy if I can get it from him by the gallon ?
Or perhaps you encourage fanboyism..... Well I don't....
feel free to stick your fingers in your ears and pretend like everybody is an upstanding citizen.... Its much easier than dealing with the real problem.

Could you leave and go visit the bartender already then?
Hidetaka Miyazaki on stepping away from Dark Souls II and the future of the series
"These competing statements make it hard to decipher whether Miyazaki wished to step away from the Souls series, or if he was asked to move aside by the company so that the IP could be steered in a fresh direction. When asked about his new full-time role, Miyazaki mentions that he’s working on a new title as director, but when we ask if it’s a new IP he simply laughs and replies, “Sorry, I can’t answer that."
"Yoshida said Sony "dropped the ball" when it passed on publishing Demon's Souls in North America and Europe. Atlus and Namco Bandai picked up the slack, with the latter publishing From Software's spiritual successor, Dark Souls..
"We have been great partners with From Software from the very beginning of PlayStation," Yoshida said....We have a long history of working as platform holder, developer and publisher in the case of Demon's Souls. We love them."
I asked Yoshida if Demon's Souls is a franchise that could join series like Killzone, Gran Turismo and Uncharted as a multi-PlayStation platform — and if Sony would consider developing a sequel without From Software as the primary developer.
"That's a great question, but because of the attention that will get, I choose not to answer," Yoshida said. "But personally, I love Demon's Souls. I spent hours and hours and hours [playing it]."
"I love the team, I love the game and yeah, I'd really like to see more. But that's all that I will say."
PS4 Exclusive “Souls” Game: “Worth the Wait. Where There is Smoke, There is Fire” – Sony Dev
NeoGAF user DemonNite, that is pretty much known to be a Sony employee, even if his real identity is more protected than the gold of Fort Knox, already teased a PS4 exclusive “Souls spinoff” in the past, and today he mentioned that fans of the series will love it.
Whatever Miyazaki is doing, I’m sure all Souls fans will enjoy it. Me included ;D
For those that don’t know, Hidetaka Miyazaki was Demon’s Souls Lead Director.
In order to find out more about this mysterious project, we reached out to another source at Sony Computer Entertainment who wishes to remain anonymous, specifically to ask about the nature of the game as a possible “spinoff,” unfortunately he declined to comment on that, but he still admitted that the cogs are definitely spinning.
It will be worth the wait. Where there is smoke, there is fire.
Considering the popularity of the Demon’s Souls franchise, it’s very likely that the “fire” will turn into a full fledged explosion whenever the project will be revealed. Can we expect something at E3? We can only wait and see.
Oh yes, nobody can deny this game is going to be awesome, it does not even matter if the game has PS3 level graphics at higher resolution it really is the gameplay that counts with this one, anything else is a bonus.
And if it's only on PS4, then I'm going to laugh at anyone who liked the 'Souls series and bought and Xbox One, this coming from someone who played Dark Souls 1 & 2 on PC (after PS3 and Demon's Souls obviously).

Actually, everybody can, considering the game's not out yet, and more importantly, we don't even know what the actual game is, for which platforms, etc. We don't know if it's even an actual Souls type game.
And i say this considering Project Beast is the next gen console game i'm most interested in, besides Destiny. More info, and definitely, more footage is required.
Lets discuss what we actually saw. Thematically this could be a pretty cool game.
It looks less medieval in style to me with the scarecrow looking dudes, the fall leaves, and the gun. It might have a very halloween-ish vibe or colonial vibe to it. I think that would be a pretty awesome way to do creepy atmosphere and style.
