Rockstar Games - ( Makers of Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption ) ... i don't think The Witcher 2 stands any competition against a Rockstar Game . Go to P.C forums majority P.C gamers wishing L.A noire to be released on P.C as well . Everyone loves Rockstar Games ( from P.C gamers to Console gamers )

No matter how much The Witcher 2 gonna be good , its no competition against L.A Noire ( coz Rockstar Games Publishing / Developing it along with Team Bondi ) .

Its not about P.C VS console gaming , its about competition against Rockstar Games .

MAY 17 is L.A Noire Day .

I see even more console gamers here wanting the Witcher 2 on the consoles.

Personally I´m not that interested in LA Noire,and if I was,I just had to buy it for the PS3,wich I won´t,because The Witcher 2 is releasing the same day.

Rockstar Games is part of developing L.A Noire besides Team Bondi , so i've full faith :)

If it were on console, I might check it out, but I'd still buy L.A. Noire over the Witcher 2.

The Wircher 2 is going to be a great game , i'll wish it gets very high score . See , i'm a gamer and i'll also want to play a great game as The Witcher series .

But you know , we all know Rockstar Games develops highly popular games amongst gamers ( Consoles to P.C ) . Thats why i'm saying The Witcher 2 is no match for Rockstar Games on May 17 .

Having said that , i'll say The Witcher 2 going to be one of the best rpg experience & all , High Scores .I'll also wish to play that . But on May 17 L.A Noire is simply going to outscore The Witcher 2 For rockstar popularity amongst critics and gamers alike , we can't deny that ;)

L.A Noire will sell more. This much is obvious. The Witcher 2, more likely than not, will be the better game.

It's a good month, however. There are two great games coming out, that both appeal to different people. Everybody's happy.

I agree with you for party based rpgs but in TW2 you control only one character so action rpg is the only way to go.

Party turn based rpgs are overrated. On tabletop people seldom roleplay as multiple characters.

Single player turn based rpg is the way to go.

I don't really see the comparison here - they're in different genres, they're on different platforms, and they're not even particularly aiming at the same audiences. Anyway, LA Noire will probably outsell The Witcher 2 since it's on multiple platforms, but I think The Witcher 2 will outscore LA Noire. I'll be picking up both day one.

*edit* I'm definitely more hyped for The Witcher 2...which is a bit strange. I'd normally take anything noir over a fantasy story without even needing to think about it.

And...hm, maybe The Witcher 2 might win out in long-term sales. The first game still sells fairly well during sales, four years on.

Sir ? i guess you don't know of existence of GTA 3 , Vice City and San Andreas on P.C and its popularity . Ask any P.C veteran about how solid those games are and are loved by P.C community back in those days .

Rockstar titles are usually ambitious when it comes to longevity and replay value, but I think it's safe to say that The Witcher 2, being a full-fledged RPG, will definitely be on par, if not better, in that regard, and that matters a great deal to me.

'Sides, The Witcher 2 will mop the floor with LA Noire in the graphics departement.
