Do you own a Switch? Plan on getting one?

I’ve had mine since launch. It’s already paid itself off in entertainment value. Zelda, Mario Oddysey, Xenoblade, Mario Rabbids all in its first year and technically, it’s not even a year old yet. The system just needs to keep the momentum. I know I’m getting a Bayonetta 2 again fo show. Give us what we want Nintendo and you may even reign supreme. What about you, SW? Are you on the Switch train?

No and not any plans yet. I'm not big on Nintendo franchises. Bayonetta 2 and 3 widen my eyes a bit , though.

I bought one last week along with Super Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Been playing a lot of Super Mario Odyssey and love it. I can totally see why it got a 10/10 here, awesome game. Looking forward to getting:

- Breath of the Wild

- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

- Pokken Tournament DX

- Fire Emblem Warriors

- Mario + Rabbids

I've had mine since launch, but don't really use it much.

Nintendo has shown that they cannot support a platform for a full generation. I'll purchase one in 2 years when they have a new gimmick that they are pitching and play the "must games" from this gen...I'm 99% sure that over 50% of them have been released.

My buddy got one last week, played it for the first time and fell in love. I plan on getting one in February for my birthday.

Not yet. Getting my new truck in the spring and going to gauge what I do for entertainment based on available room in the sleeper. Might do a TV hookup for my laptop, or might get a Switch.

Ye, and I really like it. I was pissed at Nintendo over the Wii U, but they made up for that with the Switch!

Yes. It's payed for itself already. I never witnessed a console launching with so many quality exclusives. I just finished xenoblade 2 it was amazing!

Had one since launch, but my son is slowly taking it over. Mostly so he can play Pokken and Dragonball Xenoverse, but also Chess Ultra.

I came close to getting him his own for a Christmas, but will probably end up getting one for him this summer for his birthday. Once Pokemon proper comes out, I’ll never see the Switch again if we still have to share one.

I bought one with Mario and Zelda, arriving tomorrow. Don't know what else I'll be getting eventually. Maybe Metroid Prime 4.

No. Tempting, but probably not tempting enough. I'm too casual and too relaxed about my gaming these days to consider "following the games to the platform" a serious prospect any more.

I've had it since launch. It is a great system with great games. I have Zelda, Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart as well as a few others. Botw is the best game I have ever played, I highly recommend it. The only thing I think the system is currently missing is better app support such as netflix and youtube. It also should have a virtual console with classic Nintendo titles. It's great as is but I think Nintendo is missing an opportunity by waiting so long to include these features.

Yup, since launch. I really fucking love the thing. Haven't been this happy with a console since the GameCube.

Waiting for a 2.0 with better battery life. Or when I have so much disposable income. I can't resist a nice bundle.

My job completely sold out of Switches, and PS4's this holiday season. The Neon color was the most sought out of the Switches. We also barely have any Switch games. And we had a chunk of Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 copies.

@SolidGame_basic: Yes, its so tempting because of Mario kart. Been playing it since N64 days. Very likely will buy it :)

It's the best MK since Double Dash on GameCube, in my opinion. Get it soon so you can play online before they make it a paid service. :P

Had one since shortly after launch. I have quite a few games for it. Right now it’s probably my most played console. Just started Assassins Creed Origins though so that may change.

i bought one before christmas. right around the time mario and rabbids came out.

so far im enjoying it. i basically see it as the nintendo vita with TV Out which is a really good thing.

i also have a wii u so some of its big hitters (MK8, BOTW) are games i dont play on the switch but for people who never had a wiiu the switch game selection is quite strong now. but i have X2, odyssey, Fast racing RMX and mario & rabbids.....big games in their own right. itll be interesting to see what 2018 brings.

Yes, I've owned one since launch and I love it. I plan on probably buying a second one eventually as well when there is a good deal on it.

The Nintendo Switch has given me more fun in it's first year than any other console (and I've owned them all) since the N64 gave me Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Star Fox 64, WCW World Tour, and Goldeneye 007 in it's first year, so it is off to an amazing start and I think that the Nintendo Switch will eventually end up being one of my favorite consoles of all time.

I got one about a week after launch, it's a great little thing, haven't played it in a while but I will be getting Mario Oddesy soon. I want to get an extra dock but don't like that Nintendo charges $80 for them but I don't trust a 3rd party dock to not ruin my console.

I'd def like to see more content come to the Switch via apps, and VC. But there are some really good games coming and it was a great purchase

No. I may get one. It would be for my kid, primarily, but I'm hoping for a price drop first. Which could be a year or more out. Hopefully they can drop MSRP by Summer '18.
