@indzman: it's a piece of plastic. No one needs to be offended.
I own a Switch and just bought Guns, Guts and Canoli today. I loved that game on X1 and it is a perfect fit for the Switch.
Nope. Hope to come next tax return.
No lol. Shitty console with games appropriate for pre-schoolers.
So, Skyrim, Doom, Street Fighter, Dragon Ball, and Bayonetta are for pre-schoolers?
I’ve had mine since launch. It’s already paid itself off in entertainment value. Zelda, Mario Oddysey, Xenoblade, Mario Rabbids all in its first year and technically, it’s not even a year old yet. The system just needs to keep the momentum. I know I’m getting a Bayonetta 2 again fo show. Give us what we want Nintendo and you may even reign supreme. What about you, SW? Are you on the Switch train?
Is Bayonnetta an official Nintendo franchise now?

Considering Bayonetta was practically saved by Nintendo when SEGA didn't want to bother.
@nintendoboy16: i can play those on a real console. Except for bayonetta. But that's a lol game.
-"Real console", belongs on the same list as "fighting the SocJus" and "having the balls to tell it like it is"
-Hey you wanted "non preschool games" and there you go, who the f*** cares about where you can play them?
I've had it since launch. It is a great system with great games. I have Zelda, Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart as well as a few others. Botw is the best game I have ever played, I highly recommend it. The only thing I think the system is currently missing is better app support such as netflix and youtube. It also should have a virtual console with classic Nintendo titles. It's great as is but I think Nintendo is missing an opportunity by waiting so long to include these features.
They really do need to step it up in the App department. Coolyfett & the wife play games, but no Apps is a deal breaker. We use Netflix, Youtube & iHeartRadio way too much for it not be in place.
I dont own one and I'm not in a hurry to get one.
I may buy one later down the line, when its goes for really reeeaaally cheap, only to play Bayonetta 2,3 and see whats all the fuss about BotW and SMO. I never played a Zelda game before so I cant comment on BotW critical reception but something tells me I'll find SMO overrated as hell just like I found SMG overrated as hell when I finaly got to play it. It was the game that made me think critics are way too lenient when it comes to Nintendo games.

I'm just gonna say I like the idea Bayonetta is now part of Nintendo's exclusive characters as of now. Having her in Smash is enough proof she fits so well into Nintendo, I consider her to be exclusive to Nintendo and it's not everyday we see 3rd party characters becoming an official exclusive to Nintendo.
I picked one up at launch as a family console. Waited two months until Mario Kart released to give it to the kids. I created a massive clue/scavenger hunt for them taking them all around town to their favorite locations including McDonald's for lunch, the park to play and the ice cream shop. Each kiddo got a Yoshi plush that was holding a clue at various locations. By the time we got back home they discovered a 14" box crafted to look like a yellow Mario item box. Inside was the Switch, accessories and games.
Zelda was fantastic. Mario Kart was great but exactly what you expect. Mario Odyssee so far is great for the kids but a bit too simple for me. Sonic Mania was surprisingly good on it.
No, and for various reasons. I have considered buying it several times, but ultimately I can just take out my Nintendo DSXL if I need to game on the go, but this happens very rarely with me. For home I already have an X with a massive backlog that keeps growing. I just don't have the time for another console. I do think the Switch is wonderful console with great games, I just don't really need one right now. Maybe in the future, who knows.
@Litchie: Thanks Litchie! I've been using Gamespot since I was 11 or 12. Just got back into gaming so here I am.
Thanks for sharing wow didn't realize they would try charging us to play!
@nintendoboy16: Why play multiplats on the inferior console?
1. Ask fans of the PlayStation 2, which had mostly inferior multiplats compared to the XBOX and in some cases the GameCube.
2. Not everyone cares where they play their games as long as they still get a damn good package. I sure as f*** don't (there are some exceptions, like Dragon Age: Origins should be played on PC, given it's genre).
3. Sometimes the inferior console has the superior multiplat. The Wii had superior versions of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II and Sonic Unleashed (though the debates in the Sonic fandom are... yeah).
@nintendoboy16: the problem here is that the whole package, as you say, SUCKS, inferior multiplats and exclusives for preteens löl!
Got one recently and just completed Super Mario Odyssey. Really cool system and absolutely amazing game.
I've had one since launch to get back to Nintendo games (even though the portability aspect is of little use to me). Zelda and Mario are great, though I do have issues with each. Mario Kart 8 doesn't pull me in to play more with most things already unlocked and my not being a fan of playing random people online (and no personal friends with the system), so I really can't judge it. Still looking forward to Xenoblade and future titles.
Nope, but I'll Probably get one at some point in the future. It's tempting right now. I haven't bought a Nintendo console since Gamecube.

are we from te same universe? wtf lolol
Yes I do. Got Zelda, MK8D, Fast RMX, and Super Mario Odyssey. Surprisingly, the most I play on it is Mario Kart. The online has been fantastic and sometimes rage inducing. Zelda has been boring me and Mario was fun but too short.
Can NOT wait for the Bayonetta 1 and 2 switch port in February!

Would you say she is Nintendo's answer Kratos & God of War?

Basically yes! And this is coming from a God of War fan.
Yes, I hardly use it but I don't regret getting one. Only bought a few games. Zelda, Mario Odyssey, Picross, Butcher, Heroes of the Monkey Tavern, Stardew Valley and Golf Story. There are still other games I want like Mario Kart and Xenoblade so all in all it would be worth it for me. But in reality whenever I want to play something there are always a couple of games on the other systems that interest me way more. Let's see. Should I continue Mario Odyssey or play Nioh? Yeah, no contest.
Been playing Super Mario Odyssey and damn is this game ever crazy good. Having a really fun time exploring the different kingdoms collecting moons and stuff. I love how they implemented those little 8-bit style segments here and there.
I am never buying a nintendo console or handheld ever again. I grew up years ago.
They make bad games that are overrated by the biased media that are filled with Nintendo fanboys. GamerGate exposed the industry.
There is nothing nintendo could make to bring me back because their whole business model is to repackage the same games every 5 years with an added gimmick that makes the games worse.
I can’t support a company that makes cartoony GameCube quality games in HD. Nintendo is 15-20 years behind the other two.
The Wii, Wii u and Switch are 3 of the worst consoles ever created.
No, overpriced, underpowered potato. Even if I look pass that, the games are a straight robbery. One of the reasons I will never return to consoles.
I am never buying a nintendo console or handheld ever again. I grew up years ago.
Random Verbal Diarrhoea
clearly not.
Nope. Hope to come next tax return.
No lol. Shitty console with games appropriate for pre-schoolers.
So, Skyrim, Doom, Street Fighter, Dragon Ball, and Bayonetta are for pre-schoolers?
They are appropriate for preschoolers apparently. I saw an 5yr old kid playing Doom with his Dad..so apparently the entire Nintendo ecosystem is pre schooler appropriate.
