@Snugenz: Dude no one cares about PC. I surely don't. PC is a generic open platform that has access to the latest chipsets, no shit it's going to look better than PS4. Do I care? No. Will never game on PC. Most of the graphics debates here are Sony vs MS. Don't go changing things because MS is getting spanked.

Higher resolution and frame rate > low res jaggie fest pumped by crazy levels of contrast !

PS4 version is still somewhat gimped by lousy software up-scaler 900P to 1080P making things look a bit washed out but that has nothing to do with the actual hardware difference .

All this will die out after the next multiplats, there's just no escape !

bad news for the lems. Especially for those grasping at the last straw with the quote of the "home run" because "PS4 looks worse due to software scaler". Well, it's not the PS4's software scaler but DF's method or recording the game that makes it look blurry.

DF uses their own hardware for capturing while DICE were handing out Elgato boxes to everyone else. The DF hardware is actually much more capable but it works differently and, without the experience of working with these new consoles, I can see a situation where settings were dialed in wrong.

JF used what DICE provided and probably didn't even attempt to change any settings which, in this case, turned out to be for the best.

So lems, this is not a good time to be an Xbox supporter. PS4 has better frame-rate, AA, AO and not to mention that 900p>720p.

System Wars not console wars, if you don't care about the PC then maybe you should find a console wars board, or not we both know you'll probably be banned again soon anyway.

Digital Foundry admit they mess up,people are seeing videos on the net and noted the difference pretty fast,they were catch and they basically were force to admit doing something bad which funny enough only helped the xbox one version..hahaha

Hey stormy as much as 14 FPS difference while having lower resolution,worse AA and lower image quality guess i was right... hahaha

Oh and Ambient Occlusion is not on the xbox one version yet which will be another hit to performance it added,so basically even with all those things the PS4 still pulls ahead frames wise.. hhahaaa

AO = hit to performance PS4 version already has it and is running as much as 14 FPS faster in some instances,so AO on xbox one should make the xbox one version run even slower.

It's a great idea to leave the option in for consoles, turn it on for higher IQ when playing single player, turn it off for smoother gameplay for MP, or get a PC and have it on for both + much more.

The only thing that input settings on a capture card could've messed up are things like contrast, which is what cows are saying is worst about the XB1 version. That does not explain the washed out textures on the PS4 version..

Objects in the distance do indeed look better on the PS4 due to the higher resolution, but textures and closer objects look better on the XB1 due to the scalar chip...

Another take on the differences:

Too long didn't watch?

- PS4 more subtle lighting

- X1 very intense lighting, possibly covering up upscale?

- PS4 version looks ever so slightly better, but both versions look amazing.

PS4 looks better at parts and X1 looks better at parts....PC looks better than both, and the game as a whole is not impressive.
