Jimmy G looked pretty decent, but we juts lost Malcolm Mitchell for what will likely be the first half of the season by the looks of it, which is unfortunate because all reports coming out about him so far had been very positive. I also got a good laugh from this

If Jimmy is really taht good and not just a product of the system, I could see a Montana/Young situation developing there.
@Chutebox: It's hard to know for sure, but he's done far better than I think most expected. If the Skins are bad this year they're obviously not going to give up a top-10 pick for him based on 5 quarters, but I wouldn't be shocked if a bad team without a promising QB (Bears, Browns, 9ers, also into this category) offered up a couple of second rounders, or a package with similar value. That being said I think how Brady looks this season could play heavily into what they do with Garoppolo. If he starts showing signs of aging they'll probably hold onto Jimmy, but if he looks great and like a player who will be unquestioned starter through 2017, they'll probably get what they can for him.

This thread is about the NFL. The Jays offense has been inconsistent and disappointing and they don't like spending too much money on good players. I'm not sure how the Jays will play today. At least they tied the game.

If I were a Cowboys fan I"d want Dak Prescott to keep starting after the bye, and probably for the rest of the year unless he plays himself out of it. Romo's contract extension was a mistake, but truthfully it's a sunk cost. And while I do think Romo probably be 5-1 as well, he's too injury-prone for me to feel confident about his chances of making it through the rest of the year. Besides, if the Cowboys want to know if Dak is the team's long-term future at QB, making him the starter now will allow him to answer those questions and plan for the future more quickly.
Screw the Raiders, the Chiefs look like a superbowl team. We finally see this team with the A+ defense, needed offensive diversity/options, running backs, tight ends and wide receivers and are doing everything they need to be doing to be on that path.
