also, my boss let me off 90 minutes early and i got my pc case... so i'm gonna try to install titanfall.

speaking off that ... titanfall is downloading at 4.35 MB/sec and I definitely don't pay for that... Rad

just remember, push REALLLLLLLY hard on everything to make sure its not gonna fall out. and rub your feet on the carpet first. preferably in socks. also, motherboards tend to be dirty. pour a glass of water on it to clean it off.

I just can't get it to power on at all... There are a few cords I have no idea what to do with.. I feel dumb! The case is fucking sexy but I am just dumb.

most likely, you have the pins setup wrong. look in the manual for something like this to see how they should go. you need to use the cables to connect certain pins together. don't use this picture, each mobo is different.

I can get the power led on the case to turn blue for a second every now and then.. The power led inside of the case is on.. I can't get any of the fans or anything to work...

I think the quickest way to whittle my backlog down is to go system by system and one game at a time. I'm gonna make a list and just cross out the game when I'm done. Starting with PS3 and then moving onto Wii/WiiU. I'll play my handheld games at night before bed.

That can work for a while but it's easy to burn out approaching each game as a task rather than as entertainment.

So I go back to work today.... Meh.. lol

He may have even killed it with static. That happened to my dad and I twice before he learned we should tether ourselves to the case to keep us grounded to it. You can tie a piece or bare metal wire around your wrist and then to the case itself. Or you can just buy a professional type grounding bracelet from Radioshack or something. But yeah. Static can **** shit up.

The dude that owns the pawn shop I work at also owns a computer repairing shop.. They looked at it and said the psu looks fried and everything else looks fine.. Really hope that is the case.

Though by fucking up my own computer I'm no longer upset at new eggs 2day shipping taking over a week.

I've needed to re-seat my CPU fan for a while now and this has got me even more scared.

re-applying thermal paste to my CPU like a year ago was a nightmare for me...

But it led to me buying a big nice hyper 212 evo for it so I guess it was good in the long run.

Got my PC hooked up to my monitor and it is totally working great..

Had to buy a new PSU for it... Used to have a 800w and now I only have a 500w... Though I have a coolermaster now, which I guess is better than thermaltake, but I'd still like to have a bigger one... hopefully this new line of nvidia gpu's get dope though... they use pretty much half the power my CPU does.

i'm so happy i didn't fry everything in my pc it has took away all my formatting ability

I watched the new 300 movie tonight. What a load of balls. I went for the crazy sword slashing, shield slamming, spear slinging, hunchback weeping, man-in-gold-panties snarling action. Instead I got a handful of bloody clashes swallowed up by a too-obvious-to-be-heartbreaking backstory of one crazy bitch and shit load of ambiguous war propaganda. It was so horribly written. Frank Miller should stop. He's getting too old and up his own ass to be the master craftsmen he once was. George Lucas'd all over that shit.
