Graphics Card - Latest ranking about the overall performance of graphics cards!

Hey guys quick question. How do you guys think the 9500gt will handle a lot of the source games ala L4D TF2 Half Life etc.... I'm looking at the card mostly because those are pretty much the only games that matter to me. Specs wise im running 2.8ghz Phenom II x4 with 8GB ram on windows 7 home premium.

Man, the gts250 is almost the same that the 9800gt, its different nm tech, but the specs are SAME so 2 9800gt oc will be almost the same than 2 250gts

How come it didnt change yet?The 5830 has arrvied and so did fermi.

list is VERY out of date actually. for example they dont have crossfireed rv 770 gpu's on there (the hd 2400's - 2900's could be crossfired

I bought a HD4890 1GB about 9 months ago and i can say it was a best buy.

Is the GTX 295 actually faster/more powerful then a HD 4870 X2 ? I haven't checked any benchmarks on the two, so I'm a little behind, but is that accurate ?

so i am planning this summer to build a HTPC. First question is, do you guys know of any nvidia cards lately that pass HD audio through hdmi? I have googled, and nothing about NEW cards. I am also a gamer, so I would like to get something up to date, and I really wouldn't mind going sli. I will be upgrading my hdtv this summer as well, so i'll be pushin the 1080p resolution. Would two 250gts's do the job? I've had a 8800gts 320 mb on my desktop for a while now and it's been great. I max out lfd2 no prob; i'm not huge into pc gaming, stick to the ps3 lately, but with starcraft soon and splinter cell... i dunno, maybe!

we check hardware benchmarks and its value.

and we would need to know what gpu socket you have for the 7300gt as it came in both pci-ex16 and agpx8.. regardless of which you have options

I'm thinking of updating my 4850HD to a 4890HD.. as I think my 4850HD is starting to crap out.. I just want to make sure my PSU can support it.. I used the psu calculator and i think it should my PSU right now is an antec 500 with 2 +12V @ 18A so.. 36A total.. that should be enough right?expanded

It's safe to say that the 5870 is definitely the faster card out of the two but it only really comes into its own with the more demanding titles, which bodes well for it being a decent DX11 card when more DX11 games come out over the next 12 months.

and well basically most console ports would be fine.. source games, games from 2008-2009 would be okay. budget tiles and mmo's would be fair game aswell but nohting "benchmark" grade..

its got the lows of n hd 5850 with the high results of a 5830.. in the end id say its about equal with either a stock hd 5850 or an overclocked hd 5830..

when the gtx 460 shows it will probably ofer an acurate comparison.

Whoever bought an 8800gtx at release might of gotten one of , if not the best gpu value in history. Stilllow highend after all this time. Great list btw.

umm not so much anymore.. 8800gtx/9800gtx are about even and the time is coming lol.. i would heartily consider one by the end of the summer or even the beginning of next year (or sometime in-between) the 8800gts/9800gt is starting to not cut it for demanding titles anyone who thinks different is kidding themselves.. guess what YOUR NEXT!

It is true that when the GTX295 launched it was faster the an ati 4870x2 but ati overdid themselves after cata 10.3 and now it owns the 295.
