If my signature is not a giveaway I suppose I must note that I am a Christian. I am indeed one of those who believe God the Son took upon the nature of man, lived a perfect life, died the death that I deserve, defeated death by rising from the grave, and will one day come again to reconcile this fallen creation with God the Father. I believe in the greatest of redemption stories: this fallen world will be remade new.mindstorm

This right here, minus the part about my sig.

I don't know. I'd like to believe in an intelligent designer and a loose interpretation of the bible. Guess I'm more agnostic than anything though because I'm skeptical on some things and I admit that we have know way of knowing for sure. I try not to think about it too much.

If you are Mormon at birth and turn away from it and become atheistic are you still allowed to have multiple wives with no wrath from God? Would be epic.

I'm a pessimistic atheist and I have my own reasons to be an atheist. I see no evidence that there is a God who actually cares about me. And in this big-ass Universe I realized that I am really insignificant. So sorry, no God/s for me here.

Agnostic. Most try to relay the same message but in different way. Like coffee it needs to be filtered. Any straying too far from nature and the truth are not worthy of consideration.

I follow Bible Presbyterianism, but I'm more of a follower of the morals of Christianity and not the outdated laws and rigind guidlines. Not because I disagree with anything in my faith, I just like to keep an open mind.

How about Bahai?

Bahai, to me, is the ultimate in contractictions, since many religions are not particularly similar in their doctrine or culture at all. Believing in Bahai is like believing in everything good you're told about all religions, but ignroing all the bad stuff in them that directly contradicts with it. Bahai also relies on "messengers" and personal testimony rather than on discovery, so is of limited value to me. It seems ridiculously nebulous, fluffy and pointless in it's doctrinal justification too. It seems to be anti-homosexual and espouses chastity outside of marriage, and abstinance from politics to boot!

P.S. I never knew Theism was a religion.

Dude I didn't know anything of Bahai. But yeah I agree it seems kinda lame. They have nice temples though. Well maybe not a religion but at least a belief. I know God exist but in what form etc I don't have any idea of. No rituals etc

Would you consider that more than one God exists? I've always thought this possibility as slightly more likely than a monotheism, since it may better explain the amoral nature of the universe: i.e. Warring Gods wreaking vengeance and wrath over their creations could explain natural disasters and human suffering.

Not really in the way you describe it. Not like the roman Gods you know. But I think God is eternity and everything. So on the one hand I see it as one God but also he's everything. So in the end I think it's beyond our comprehension as always. I don't think God is a conscious being as we but much much much more beyond that. And much more beyond being just "one". Sorry I can't explain in words really. But maybe you understand kinda?

Well yes in a way. But I don't know what to think of the nature of God. If he's actively involved in the world or not. And I believe God created the universe but according to wiki Pantheists doesn't. But yes in the way that universe is "part of God". And I do believe God has some sort of consciousness just way way beyond our understanding and that there is a purpose to this world. I don't think Pantheist think this.

Dude you don't understand what this means to me!!! Now I never heard of this belief but I read some quick stuff on Wikipedia and this seems to be pretty much exactly what I believe. When people ask me about my religion I've always said agnostic, theist or monotheist etc, but now I think I finally know what my religion is! Panendeism! Thanks alot man!!
