The act is still punishable by a fate worse than death. In the grand scheme of things, what happens to you on Earth is of very little consequence. Eternity is much longer. Homosexuals are still not faced with an incredibly harsh punishment for fulfilling their biological urges. And they are still shunned by Christians here on Earth, even if not murdered. Things are not different in any meaningful way.
It is, but the difference is that someone has taken the place for that sin. And whether biological or not, when I lust after a woman, I feel the guilt in my heart. I do think all guys feel this guilt, regardless of if they deny it. And I do agree many of my fellow Christians can be douches to homosexuals, but I try my hardest to not be. :)
