I must be the only one to sympathize with poor Carl, but then, I've been sympathizing with everyone. He's realistic enough, I feel like he does what a kid his age would do. He's young, he's immature, and he feels like he killed Dale and sent him off to a place even worse than the world they live in now. He's a better character than a lot of people think he is. I won't say he's learned his lesson, but he's certainly feels punished for his BS.
Dale, I loved Dale. He was a great character. With hindsight, I don't know how I didn't see it coming, but I didn't. I really liked him.
I don't know where they're going to go from here though. I mean, they have Daryl (awesome), Rick (eh, but his dynamic with Shane is awesome. I expect him to get better, he's been in the world for a long time now), Shane (awesome), Lauri (b!tch), Carl (whatever, I like him, I'd like not to seem him die), Carol (quite, reserved, she's a good character), Andrea (I like her more after this episode when she sided with Dale, but I think she looks at everything backwards), Maggie (boring), Hershell (relatively boring, its been 10 episodes and I feel like I haven't seen much of a change), and Glen (he's good, he feels the most relatable out of any of them). That's it right? They're going to kill at least two of them, my money is on Lauri, and I don't know about the second one.
I think they need some fresh blood. I hope they leave the farm, add five characters, and go somewhere. Haven't seen Mertyl and the black guy since the first season. Maybe they'll appear. I feel like Mertyl will be in the group that was with the kid. Wouldn't that be something?
