Toronto is basically like any big city in US IMO. Mostly places outside Toronto are peaceful.

Toronto crime rate is among lowest in Canada which is pretty phenominal considering Canada already has a low crime rate overall and is incomparable to the US...a lot o people just think big city = dangerous.
