Got a pretty nice looking copy of Project Gotham Racing 2 for the original Xbox if anyone would like to trade. I won't call it mint, but it's damn close.

A little detective work for someone...

What is the game being played in this video? I remember playing the hell out of this game as a kid at Aladdin's Castle, but I can't remember the name for the life of me. Anyone have an idea?

^ That looks like a LOT of games from then. It looks a lot like a game I used to play too, but then, like I said, there were a lot of those.

Thanks! This has been bugging me since I saw the video on Metal Mania.

If anyone wants to part with the RED copy of the Digital Press Guide, I'm happy to PayPal you for it. Mine is in deep storage right now (along with a lot of my posessions) and I'm going into withdrawl.

They are currently out of print while the latest is made up otherwise I'd order it myself.

As a result of not having access to my full library I've become a bit of a list-addict.

Knowing that you have had a lot of your stuff in storage all these years, I can now relate. When I have my new game room finished, which will enable me to have all the systems and games in one room, it will be beyond satisfying. I'll probably never leave it.

I stumbled upon a pawn shop directory for the US while browsing the forums today, the site is uspawnshopdirectory.com

I thought it may be helpfull to our members to find some new pawn shops they may not know exist without having to jump through burning rings of fire to find them! 8)

I noticed lately that Ar Tonelico seems to be appearing used at Gamestops with surprising regularity. It's a reprint, just lke SMT Nocturne and contains only the DVD case and instruction booklet.

Does the case have the memory card holder slot? I've noticed that the DDS and Nocture reprints are using cases that don't have the memory card holder. In fact there a few of the new titles that are doing that. Chaos Wars, Soul Nomad, Mana Khemia, and Arcana Heart all have cases without the memory card holder.

Oh and for the record the reason I asked about the mem card holder is my copy of Ar Tonelico has a mem card holder and it's the box set with the little book. So if the one that you are seeing at Gamestop doesn't have the holder then it might be a reprint.

Looks like a reprint

http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-43-49-en-15-ar+tonelico-70-2sxf.html

They also list Nocturne as a reprint.

Waflerevolution, who basically stated the CCU ha been gone for some time now (check his blog for details). For his past contributions he has been made an Honorary Officer, though his administrative officership position had to be filled.

After much conversation the officers and myself have ageed to promote Cosmostein77 as our newest officer.

Cosmo has differentiated himself my the quality of his posts and his outstanding collection.

I have noticed that all new North American PS2 releases have had the same case change. It seems like it is an entirely region-wide change. New Japanese releases still use the old styIe cases with the mem. card holders though.

Talking about case changes, anybody over there noticed a slight change in X360 cases? It might be just a UK thing, but the last few brand new releases I've got (GH Aerosmith, Alone in the Dark, Lego Indy etc.) have what looks to be much cheaper, shoddier cases. The plastic is thinner, the disc-holding mechanism is altered, they don't close properly half the time and I've already broken two. I'm careful with my stuff, but usually cases don't break when you close them too hard.

No big deal. It's just annoying me.

ok, so, i'm hoping someone can answer this for me, i wasn't sure where to ask it, so i thought i'd ask it here: i recently purchased a UK PS3 magazine which came with a Blue-Ray disk with a bunch of stuff on it, and i was wondering if it would work on a North American PS3?

I think it would work. PS3 is region free if I'm not mistaken - and although BR has the potential for region coding for movies (ABC... handily designed to stick the US and Japan in the same region and leave everybody else out) hardly anything uses it. Can't say for certain though.

I'm sure the PS3 is region free, that is why with MGS4 they decided to release it everywhere at the same day at the same time. Because if they decided to release it in Amercia first people would import it and spoil it for people who didn't

According to GameSpot, the next Deer Hunter game, Deer Hunter Tournament (X360), is going to be published by Atlus.

No way that's true. But it was worth a chuckle.

Tell me about it. I've developed a porblem where the top of my left eyelid twitches. I think it's due to lack of sleep/stress.

Yep, that happened to me. And if you keep at it and start relying too much on caffeine your going to start getting chest pains.

Oh and word from the wise DON'T go down the sleeping pill / no-doze route. You'll do some damage.

My advice is drink a large energy drink when you start your shift and nothing else during your shift.

I don't touch energy drinks, but I'd be lost without my coffee. The right side of my body does not function in the mornings without it, while the left over-compensates for the lack of caffeine and is generally stuck on overdrive. I get twitches when I don't have coffee :P

Am I addicted? Most probably. I've been drinking the stuff strong and black since I was about seven (that's about the normal starting age... it's a European thing), so I'm hopelessly lost now. Take today, for instance. It's 9.30am on a Sunday and I'm on my third big mug. Huh.

As for the overwork thing, been there. Last autumn was the worst. I was putting in 9-5s during the week at uni, working a job most evenings and all weekends for a pittance and spending my nights unable to sleep due to my bi-annual bout of insomnia. After Christmas I gave up the job, but I replaced it with endless uni assignments and cramming for finals, so that really didn't help!

I sense a similar theme this year too. I couldn't get a proper mature-adult job and my police officer application can take up to six months (!), so I took two dead-end jobs for the money (one retail, one as a runner/file clerk/coffee girl for the courts) which is gonna kill me.

Never in my life have I envied my brother quite so much. He gets to play games for money.

At my store we got a whole AC/DC Rock band setup going. Set it up yesterday. It's awesome.

Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know that gmsnpr has resumed leadership of the union.

I had a great time being leader of the CCU and will continue to be an active officer. I want to thank the officers that we have for being supportive and always looking to promote the union and contribute their talents.
