Great for mature and solo players, not so much for l33t speaking socializing types.

I gave this a go with the 10-day free trial. Nothing to lose except a few hours of time, right? I've played 3-4 hours every day and found myself thinking about it at work, during my commute, eating dinner- I will be signing up!

This a game with tremendous potential. It's rough around the edges right now as all MMO's seem to be in their infancy. They do have a few bugs (I've seen worse in higher-rated games) and really do need to address housing and maybe a fast-travel option, but it's pretty well designed otherwise.

I do love the game so far but, like movies, to each their own. It will probably be easier to say what I like in a video game and how it relates to FE so can decide if it would appeal to you.

I like to solo - I just can't devote the time to groups/clans, but it's very possible to do this if you want to.

I loved SWG before it got hosed. This really is the game I've been looking for since I threw my wireless mouse against the wall after the SWG NGE. There are a lot of similarities.

I like interactive combat - you really need to pay attention. There is no click and it's on auto-pilot. If a monster circles around behind you during a fight, you have to circle to face him or get whipped. I like that.

I like USEFUL crafting - Useful means I can actually use/sell what I make and I can find/create the materials. I hate being forced to buy components from rip-off NPC vendors. You can find/make any component in the game.

I like a mature community - nobody bothers you, but are very responsive if you need help and no l33t-speakers! There are also way less FKITA's (f-ing know it all's) or self-appointed forum police ("start a new thread please") making you feel stupid for asking a question. Every time I've asked how to do something on the Help channel, I've gotten a quick and polite answer!

I like a complex and unique character - the choices are limitless and no two characters are alike. The skill system can be frustrating, but gives me the power to decide who I want to be in game. Needs option to respec, but that may be coming.

I am not a fan of instancing or linear gameplay - The only time I've seen this in FE is the initial tutorial/starting. After that (10 minutes with my second character), it's a wide-open and huge world you are free to explore.

I love the post-apocalyptic/Fallout/Mad Max genre - This game satisfies my need for mutants, home-made weapons and wastelands.

Mounts! Who doesn't love mounts?! This one has horses, ATV's and eventually dune buggies! You can buy them or even craft them! And, adding to the refreshing complexity, you need to feed/fuel/repair them too.

Say hi in-game if you decide to play, I'm Snookie!
