Unexpectedly grabbed me and sucked me in!

This game really was a surprise for me. Played Open Beat on a whim and really got sucked in. I can't say enough about this game and am really having a blast playing it right now. Steep learning curve keeps a lot of the 'usual' mmo crowd out. This I like! Huge open sandbox world. Thnik I read over 5,500 quests and 11,000 square miles of area? Gigantic.

Crafting is king, you can make 95%+ of the items in the game, melee weapons, make your pistols or rifles, motorcycles, dune buggies, armor, everything.

Great community (so far) and devs that really work hard to improve the game.

Class-less characters to play as you wish and 6 factions and the factions are not all against each other but have their enemies, arch enemy, and allies among those 6.

Post-apocalyptic setting--I am so sick of fantasy and this setting is the perfect escape.

Requires a high-end system to play. Also keeps the 'usual' crowd out.

Got a nice mix of PvE and PvP. PvP in certain areas as well as conflict towns in the higher zones.
