A very creative shooter, but it feels very cluttered and easy at times.

Well, after writing my recent review of Super Stardust, I thought I would review another game within the same genre.

Mind you, this isn't a comparison of the 2 games, though within the same genre, they are very different.

Graphics: The thing that pulled me towards this game was the graphics. Not the stunning HD stuff we see nowadays, the artistic nature that they were crated with is what really caught my eye. It looks gorgeous, and that's about all there is to say on the subject. It runs very smoothly, but the problem I had with this game is that the screen gets cluttered very quickly, and it's sometimes hard to tell what will kill you and what won't.

Game Play: Soild gameplay, good ol' Geometry Wars control scheme, but you don't have the luxury of things like bombs, just point on shoot in this one.

Sound: Probably my favorite part of this unique title is the sound. A very simple base song, and the song progresses as you kill, everything makes different sounds, your gun, your ship, every enemy, etc. and it really never gets old to me. Different every time, I find myself playing this sometimes just to hear something unique.

Overall, I'd prefer a few other games in the genre, but that's not saying this isn't a good game. The game itself is very simple, but creative in the best way possible. It's worth the money I shelled out for it, and I don't think most people would be disappointed.
