Top 10 UK Sales Chart: Ghost Recon Wildlands Back On Top
Persona 5 drops out of top 40 entirely after coming top last week.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands has returned to the top of the UK physical sales chart for the week ending April 15. The open-world game spent two weeks at No.1 when it launched in March, but was pushed down to No.2 for the following three weeks by Mass Effect: Andromeda (twice) and Persona 5. Altus's JRPG drops out of the top 40 altogether this week following a series-best UK launch last week, meanwhile, though the title has suffered a stock shortage at many retailers.
In the wake of Ghost Recon's return to No.1 this week are Lego Worlds at No.2 and Grand Theft Auto V at No.3, while Overwatch jumps six places to No.4.
The week's only notable new release, Yooka-Laylee, debuts at No.6, meanwhile. Reviews for the Banjo-Kazooie spiritual successor have been mixed, while GameSpot's Yooka-Laylee review called the game "outdated" in parts. Critic Kallie Plagge did think the game was worthy of the "spiritual successor" title, however.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands also received mixed reviews, though its launch was the year's strongest so far in terms of sales. It continues to be supported by Ubisoft, with the latest big patch fixing a load of bugs.
