PUBG Physical Release Confirmed For Xbox One

@chiefwiggum16: I think this article and others like it are confused. Brendan in yesterday's interview stated that the game would be released on hard copy and that we can expect a release later this year.

The interviewer imo completely misinterpreted the info.

The game will still come to xbox preview program (online) not as a hard copy, before the end of Nov. The hard copy will release (what was supposed to be next year) apparently before the end of 2017, this part is confusing.

@Greyfox-101: They would have to either have completed the action of stamping the discs or be close to getting there if they still want to make a 2017 physical release window. Granted as Tony Hawk 5 proved, you really don't have to stamp much onto a disc. Tony Hawk 5 only has the tutorial on the disc. That giant day one patch the game had? That's the rest of the game you're downloading because they actually needed that time to "complete" the game. This will probably be somewhat like that where the disc doesn't have much at all or has a fragment of finished content and they're working on the game right up until release, and for an online game I guess it really doesn't matter if there's a giant day one patch to download the rest of the game.

@Greyfox-101: It's definitely releasing this year, it's launching in MS's game Preview Program so it doesn't have to be "finished" for it to release. I'd guess the last week of November or first week of December.
