Overwatch Is Teasing Something For Next Week

New Tweet hints at an April 11 reveal.

Overwatch developer Blizzard is teasing a reveal for April 11. The official @PlayOverwatch account tweeted the below video today, April 3.

It is unclear what the Tweet is hinting at. One possibility could be a message projected on the screen seen in the video. The message reads, "King's Row uprising entering into record seven years ago. Security clearance required: confidential." The in-game map King's Row reportedly had aesthetic changes made in Overwatch's public test realm server alongside a recent update, though these were not noted in any update notes.

Blizzard has a history of teasing character reveals and in-game events. A bunch of teases appeared to hint the game's latest character would be Doomfist, though that hero ended up being Orisa.

In other Overwatch news, game director Jeff Kaplan has said the game could get a map editor one day. "We are extremely open-minded about releasing a map editor for Overwatch someday," he said. "But because Overwatch was made with a brand new engine, this is not a small task or one which can happen any time soon."

Continued support is partly why we love Overwatch here at GameSpot--we awarded it our Game of the Year for 2016.
