Xbone looks like it could make a nice foot stool for me lol. I'm mobile gaming this gen all the way. Here's why Android Smart Phone(ASP) + Gameklip>next gen. nuff said. ASP more games, better games, I can play gba,ps1,dreamcast games, and I can game wherever and whenever I want. I mean I can go on and on and I will because I don't have a life. Anyways no multiplayer subscription, no kinect no motion gimmick. Oh the best part many ASP games are free and many of the paid games are certainly worth purchasing. Not to mention one can argue IOS is on par with Android when it comes to gaming especially with games like Infinity Blade 2-3. I mean Gamespot gave Infinity Blade 2 a perfect 10 let's see how long it'll take these next gen consoles games to make a perfect 10.
It'll be a sad day for America if MS can't outsell the japanese product on their own turf - especially with a superior product. Americans barely buy American cars.
Reason #2!!! Ps4 for the WIN!
This video was obviously recorded more than a few days ago. They were both streaming & playing games all day on Monday
Right, first of all I hate to sound like a fanboy and I've truly enjoyed playing on the Xbox 360 for many years.
However Microsoft has decided not to launch the Xbox one in my country till earliest march 2014 and not only that, they gave no reason for the delay other than the kinect language settings. A bullshit excuse any day.
I will not cancel my now 8 month old pre order as I'm really looking forward too games like titanfall. However the knowledge that my neighbouring countries get to play these games nearly 4 months in advance angers me greatly.
There is light on the horizon however. The ps4 arrives next week, Sony did keep their promise.
This thing is as big as a vcr. Microsoft sure love their big ass systems. My 360 is huge. The PS4 is a nice manageable size plus I like its design. The box seems bland by comparison but then again what really matters is its power. I am not bashing the box nor am I a Sony fanboy. I just don't like the size of this new system but I may still get this AND the ps4.
GameSpot looks like f**cked up website after their modified look few weeks back. Every page loading is atrociously slow.
Having all USB ports at the back of the console is definitely going to be an inconvenience for majority of the users who plan to plug-in to the USB port.
My only issues with Xbox One to be honest is the fact you still need to buy plug and play kits or batteries and the fact it is £100 more for a Kinect I probably won't use.
Other than that I'm loving everything so far. The games are pretty dull but PS4s weren't exactly fantastic either, and I still feel closer to Xbox One than PS4. I've owned both Xbox's so far and the PS4 just feels cold to me right now. Like there is nothing really magic about it.
Like I seriously could just take it or leave it.
Microsoft doesn't have a clue about aesthetics or design. The thing is huge and bland. Also, having a giant power brick for such a big console on 2013 is ridiculous. I'm sure it will still be a good console, and I plan on getting one in the Spring.
@Demanufactur3 If you are from South Africa it is not Microsoft's fault. It was initially meant to be release in the RSA with the European launch, but the ANC demanded that it be available in all 11 languages before launch.... strange that the ANC made no such demands on the PS4 launch ... it smells like another Gupta gate.
@Demanufactur3 My guess is the limited supply of consoles. Same for delays for anywhere (both PS4 and Xbox). They are sending to the most beneficial regions first. IDK where you live but good luck
@blackciti Sony has always to think about size because of Japan, that's why size is important to Sony.
@euphoric666 How else is your controller going to be powered? Using wifi? lol
@euphoric666 that really sucked.
@SexyMiralda There is one on the side as well.
@aXeem316 I wouldn't talk when your best rated game is "FLOWER". Enjoy your fancy screensaver.
@aXeem316 Wrong article you Fan Boy.
@Dannystaples14 I'll take rechargeable battery packs ver plug and charge.
@Dannystaples14 Ya, but my PS3 controller has a battery life of of about 1 hour before it dies. So, it's nice that I will still have the ability to just get a new battery pack instead of a new controller with Xbox.
The PS4 is going to make great, pretty games, but that's it. The XOne is going to be the machine I use the most for watching movies, TV, and online games, just like my 360. So, ya I am with ya for the most part.
@ChiefFreeman So you feel the Eraser look is better ? The USB ports are all on the back of the PS4 with that crap for an overhang forcing you turn the console around when plugging things in and out. BTW: I'll take PSU out side the unit to insure no heating issues. There is NOT benefit to having built into the unit. If anything having the PSU in the unit may cause problems like heat and if it goes bad you have to send the whole unit for repair.
@ChiefFreeman : Design is subjective. The X1 does have great industrial design and practicality. PS4 trapezoid looks out of sync with the rest of the TV boxes. Especially since I have black TV furniture X1 will look prettier in my setup.
@ChiefFreeman I like how they kept the 360 size power brick - if this type of transformer is need, powerwise, might as well keep it out the console itself. Plus, when the rapture comes, and all the signs indicate any day now, you'll have a powerful melee weapon handy to keep looters out your home :)
@ChiefFreeman I recall reading that they left the powerbrick outside of the console to alleviate a possibility of everheating. Makes sense to me, and not something I overly care about.
The Netherlands actually, and now that I've read America has them back in stock, my blood is pretty much boiling.
@C0v3rtUnis0l you are clearly an xbox user. not gonna even waste my time talking about the playstation controller.
@sammoth I don't know. I always find having to have a socket somewhere taken up by a battery re-charger is like pure torture. There is enough crap I have to plug in around the house as it is. Just being able to reach down and plug the lead in is just way more convenient than having to take the dead battery pack out and having to put the new one back in.
The only issue I've found with the plug and plays to be honest is the fact that if you leave them without charge for too long they seem to forget how to charge back up again.
So now when my pack dies on my 360 I have to keep taking the lead in and out for ages before it will start charging. Not an issue if you are just watching a movie or something (unless you are sat next to me of course) but if you are playing an online game or something it gets old pretty quickly.
I think it is long overdue we have a technology bending discovery which means we never have to use chemical cells ever again.
@C0v3rtUnis0l yeah yeah nice try kid.
@euphoric666 @C0v3rtUnis0l I do use the 360 but what I meant was that controllers can either be rechargable (battery packs or pre charge them) or plug and play. The only 'play while you charge' concept is either by using batteries or by wires and I would prefer uninterrupted gaming rather than some sign that says 'battery low' or 'charge depleted' nonsense.
