great piece Kevin. My thoughts exactly. The only interesting thing is the prospect of extending that short window in which the graphics are up truly up to date by utilising the cloud, so maybe we wont have to replace these boxes for decade, and we will be happy not to spend the money
Boring, this is such a cynical view. I agree that we need more devs making more diverse games, and I don't want to see the future where there are only a handful of studios churning out the same 5 games year on year. But what you advocating is a lowering of consumer standards. Guess what pal, we don't want to lower our standards: WE LIKE NICE GRAPHICS.
Stop advocating mediocrity! Advocate innovation, you should be asking how we can lower the costs whilst achieving higher fidelity. And this is done by more people getting into gaming and optimising the processes involved. Its a more optimistic and positive stance on the issue you moap.
this game is sooooo bad. i signed up for the beta and deleted after about 10 mins. and i dont wanna hear "its not the finished the product"
i may have given this game a chance if it was pre alpha, but at this late in the development its clear to see this game is a stinker!
the controls are diabolical. your character has a turning circle that a bus would be ashamed of. the characters look ok and the locations are cool, but thats it.
i was hoping this would be mmorpg that got me into the genre, guess ill have to wait
