Glad Rocksteady is supporting this. I was a little skeptical and worried there for awhile afraid WB Montreal was going to ruin the series, but I went over to GI and it is sounding fantastic.

@BraollusBeBack @zachintyre @Divad222 I would normally agree with you. Publishers do usually get what they want, and enforce this types of things. Although, the thing is Ubisoft publishes their own games, and if you read the article above you would have read that it is the Ubisoft Montreal Boss who released the statment. Ubisoft Montreal is the developer. So you can see the developer has this mindset along with the publisher. Thus, this game is going to be ruined.

@Divad222 Just because a game sells well doesn't mean "Oh hey, they are buying this game. Let's pump out one every year to make more cash, and keep them happy." It means "Oh hey, they are buying this game because we are advertising well, changed the gameplay significantly from the former, and introduced a new/exciting experience." If they continue to make these every year you lose that new/exciting experience. So maybe they should wait a few more years, change a few things. Make something great.

I do not want a new Assassins Creed every year. There ya go Ubisoft. I told you, we all are telling you, right now. The quality is not the same. AC3 was not that great in my opinion. The gameplay was nice and improved. Though the story was weak, and confusing. From here on out if they are rushing it and pumping one out every year the quality is going to get worse and worse. It's funny because the Naval combat was something I actually enjoyed. So it'll be funny to see how this turns out. In the end though, you can't end up like COD, people will tire of it. Take a couple years to make a good game. I can't miss what never leaves.

Some are saying they should follow in Sega's footsteps, but honestly they are not at the point when they are even thinking about doing that. They are just off to a bad start. They have a lot of money. Even if they went that direction I doubt they would give up on making handheld consoles because those actually sell very well. I love my 3DS, so like I said Nintendo is going to still be present in the console business for awhile.

If they review based on other things released till now then why a 9? This is obviously the best of the year, even IGN gave a 9.4. Why not a 9.5. Hell GI gave a 10/10.

He's not going to do another Bioshock, he has a vision for it and he was gonna stop after the first. This idea came to mind then. He is a visionary he won't do another. Doesn't mean there won't be another though. 2K will most likely rip off his title like they did with that piece of crap Bioshock 2. The only true Bioshock games are those made with the support of Levine.

I'm religious and I doubt anything from his game could offend me. I am also an artist and filmmaker and I tend to look at the world with an open mind. I don't like people telling me how to live, I live to what I believe is right, and I can respect Levine's view of his game. I am going to enjoy this game thoroughly, and hope Mr. Levine goes on to make even greater games. He is really the Spielburg of the gaming industry.

@SUNDRAGONJ @ExplosiveChorro Yea, ever play a RPG? They are usually upwards of 100 or so. At least the great ones. I milked about 160 hours of red dead, 160 of skyrim, 40 or so of about Saints Row 2 + 3. After you play those sit down and play that 12 hours and compare.

I prefer a longer game. Upwards of 20 hours. I'm really a rpg guy, they really let you build yourself up and do a lot with upwards of 100 hours at some points.
