How about we save jails for the people who commit crimes. Like the leaders of this country (USA) who spent 3 trillion and don't know what happened to it.

@Tyroshubi @xxpigbenis You're right though nobody needed kickstarter in the past to make games, but they were at the will of the publisher who's funding the project. Publishers can have ultimate say since their funding the developers to make the game. It's the reason Fable got destroyed, because Microsoft wanted to change the game.

DEVELOPERS don't always have the money to develop, publish, and ship the game . That's why they usually have PUBLISHERS help them get the games to the market. If they go to a publisher then said publisher has say in how they make the game. Now this is the confusing part so I'll say it very slowly....with...kickstarter...Double Fine...can...make..the...game...they...want...and...not...have...to...be..constrained...by...another...compnay. and just to clarify if you think that developers release the game with their own money then you're both retarded and need to educate yourself about the world.

@dkeppens If you don't play online games on PS then this does not affect you. You only have to pay for Multiplayer experiences. Everything else you can do with your basic free account.

@echolimaromeo They make enough money to survive as a company and continue to make games. They do not have enough money to publish, develop, and distribute these games. What you fail to realize is if they go to kickstarter then they can cut out the publisher which will fund the distribution and have a say in how the game is created. No publisher means more money to go to making the game how they want to create it and not what someone else wants. With kickstarter they can continue to fund a specific project that might not otherwise make it into development. You have a closed minded view on kickstarter and Double Fine. Do some research before sounding like an asshole.

@KommonSinse @xxpigbenis How about using that time making the game better. It's not like they're sitting around do nothing. They work on the game until it goes "Gold" or into certification. They have not announced that it's gone gold nor would any company 4 months before the game is released.
