How could he possibly think the Xbox 360 won the last generation?

In terms of sales the Wii won last generation.

In terms of games the PlayStation 3 won last generation.

Uncharted (3), Resistance (3), LittleBigPlanet (2), inFAMOUS (2), etc. have all started on the PS3 Gen.

For the PS3 - The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, Puppeteer, rain, and Until Dawn are all new IPs still to come out this year.

For the PS4 - Guerrilla Games is working on an new unannounced IP as they work on Killzone: Shadow Fall and inFAMOUS: Second Son is only the third one in the series. Knack is a New IP as well as DriveClub too.

There has been 7 Halo games... carried over from the original Xbox to the Xbox 360 and most likely will AGAIN be carried over to the next Xbox.

I don't comment much, I just read through the articles and comments mostly, but I've always had the impression that this site mostly consisted of PC Elitists.

Honestly if there was no Xbox console and everyone who bought the Xbox 360 bought a PS3 instead last generation the PlayStation 4 would have definitely been a rival of expensive high end PCs seeing as how Sony would have made a lot more money to justify making a new high end console. The PlayStation 4 is a really awesome piece of hardware but I believe if Sony had a run like how they had with the PS2 (150 million units sold I believe) we would be seeing some amazing tech for the PS4, stuff that would make your jaw drop and your head explode when you saw it.
