okay im just gonna let this one come out

i do NOT own a PS3 i only own a 360

and i'll tell you why ps3 gets less its because developers have no clue how to work with the cell thats the reason 360 games may have the edge for the meantime

thats why games are ported from the 360 not the other way around

and no matter what sony nor microsoft says the consoles are about equal in power its been stated by devs that the ps3 has superior processing power but the 360 has a superior graphics chip and more ram available to games

no im not a fan boy talking crap on here to make the 360 look better than the ps3 i just got the red ring of death and am not exactly happy with that at the moment but seriously the 360 is going to have a better gaming experience as long as the system works

and to be honest the best looking game on consoles at this point is gears of war a 360 exclusive from 2006 and its 08 now and neither console has been able to top its graphics or textures yet gears of war 2 will raise the bar even higher

if ps3 wants to say their system is superior and really prove it they need to put out something that 360 hasn't already done and or can do

untill that day comes it seems sony is talking the wind mgs 4 is the only thing sony has put forth that can make gears of war alittle nervous they're about equal

im done and killzone 2 is looking good but im not sure if sony can keep its graphical promise on that one

You only got about 2 things right in there... (1) Devs dunno how to use the cell from the PS3 and (2) GeoW looks good...other than that...your about wrong in everything.

PS3 is capable of WAY better graphics than the 360...and when I mean WAY better graphics...i mean WAAAAY better graphics. The only reason were not seeing them is because 9/10 the devs out there dunno how to cope with the Cell from the PS3. If they would take a bit and look at it carefully, they'd understand and then and only THEN will we see the true graphic-power of the PS3. I know everyone even agrees with me on this, MGS 4 looks WAY better than GeoW...so don't go comparing them at all....people even said MGS 4 looks better than GeoW 2. If you even for a second think that Kojima and his team fully understood the Cell of the PS3 and then made MGS 4...your wrong...I think it was said that his team didn't fully understand it and that they just wanted to do what they could and that's why Kojima said that MGS 4 was "sh***y".

Well that's basically what I know and I dunt wanna start a system wars here, that goes into the System Wars board...

All I'm saying is that if the devs take their time to understand the PS3, they'll make games that shame the 360, but no dev has really taken the time to understand it and hence simply port it from the 360 because they don't wanna take that time to understand the PS3.

Anyway, back to topic, I agree with you TC though, As I said above, if the devs took their time to understand the PS3, we'd be getting so much more content! But...because they always port it, were stuck with crap. I'm just waiting until that moment when most devs begin 2 understand the PS3 which should be soon because most of the devs said that they are slowly understanding how the PS3 works and are sure that in time, games produced would be more superior to those of the 360...graphics-wise and performance-wise...Even the guys at Crytek said so....So just wait it out...until then, were gunna be stuck with crappy ports which could have so much more game play hours/content if they just took their time....
