What is wrong with you people? Microsoft simply announced a Halo game for Windows phones and tablets, thus casual gamers. What is so wrong about that? Why so much hate?

You want to play a real Halo game? Buy an Xbox! Halo franchise has been primarilly and since Halo 3 only for Xbox.

@WillyWynn @wizaard88 Most people who complain about W8 don't even use it! :-) I was very skeptical too but since I am a notebook reviewer, I *had to* accomodate to Windows 8. And now I can honestly say it is a great OS.

It is not true that "half the resources of W7 aren't there" - only someone who doesn't know W8 or have never used it can say that. The only difference between W7 and W8 is (besides speed - W8 is a lot faster) the new Start screen. Which si - by the way - very good if you focus on how to use it and not why to hate it.

@WillyWynn The funny thing is that MS is actually doing great things lately - it still offers the same functions as before but added other functions/features for casual users. It's like Windows 8: you still have desktop there! You still have all the functions, only difference is that there is the Metro UI and apps on top. All the geeks will complain even though they have no reason for that - as I have said the functions are still there. But you can't imagine what happens when you show the Windows 8 and touchscreen to casual user (like my parrents) - they are completely blown away by the simplicity and straightforward user experience. Yet when I sit to the computer, I have all the functions of Windows 7 there.

And it is the same with Xbox One - you have TV, social networking, streaming, Skype or voice/motion control there but it is still a gaming console, all the functions are there.

The common mistake is to blame console mkers for DRM or used games policies (yet they have not been revealed almost at all), it's game publishers' business and if you know anything about the business you can't blame them either. It is simple comparison: movie goes to cinemas, then DVD/BR, then TV, streaming + merchandise. So basically they get paid three or four times. Music - first it is concerts, CD and DVD sales, radios, TV shows + merchandise. But how about games or software? You buy them. Period. And they cannot sell them for 100 USD anymore. So they can only make more money on DLC's, subscriptions etc. And if they don't get money even for the first part (the buy) - second hand games mean like 5 people paying for 1 game, moreover all the profit from those 4 additional sales goes to the retailer only - you can't wonder they want more aggresive DRM or second hand games fee.

Too long, I know.

@AlphaWolF_J @Messenger360p So you think it is impossible to stream data you don't have on the disk (worlds, maps, levels, for example) over the Internet? You think it is impossible to outsource physics calculations to the server?

So nothing has changed, yet people are complaining again... It would be fun if it wasn't so sad.

The market is not hurt by Microsoft (they only want to give the publishers rightful cut of the profit, not giving 100% to GameStop), the market is hurt by greedy press that wants to make every penny from rumours, thus publishing them in such a big scale and supporting crazy people out here in discussions... This makes me both sad and disgusted.

A trustworthy, legitimate source close to Microsoft told me Xbox One will not charge fees on used games, games for this console will be cheaper and also the console will be two to three times more powerful than PS4.

So, where is my article on Gamespot? ;-)

@NoHyperbolePlz @Dannystaples14 @If_U_Only_Knew And you think you as an owner will not be able to deactivate the game from your account (like almost any software allows)?

@Tamim @wizaard88 Sony said basically the same thing (like "used games are OK, but we don't comment anything beyond, publishers decide"), yet noone complains or cries about it... Strange...
