@smoke1125 Couldn't agee more... Sorry, really sorry, but Sony encourages me in believing that the only innovation they were able to come up with was more power. Nothing more. If that is what people want, OK, no problem with that, but I'm still not a customer.

@kiryyya Xbox One and PS4 have dramatically different architecture that current-gen consoles. They're much more similar to PC. That is why.

They did not make any 180, as Gamespot constantly forces people to believe. They only finalized the policies they announced earlier.

@mr_azim Well... doesn't it apply for all games? Or is there any game you can play without an OS? The fact that you've purchased the OS before doesn't mean you got it for free... ;-)

@shafe-man Yes they could have released it under GFWL but if they were programming it from the beginning as a Windows Store app, it was a lot easier for them to bring it to Windows 8, Windows RT and Windows Phone 8, so desktop, tablet and mobile platforms at once. And potentially to Xbox One as well (if it really uses Windows API/core).
