It's not racist depicting racism. Jesus Christ how idiotic are people these days.
Unless of course you play as a racist character and the game in question makes it 'cool' and "Achievement earned: Enslaver! Well done."
Is any film from the 1700s racist because it probably has black slaves in it?
Stupid social justice warriors strike again --- GTA is not misogynistic because it may depict sexist views; indeed the game is extremely satirical, so it's actually the DAMN OPPOSITE.
I for one welcome this. I'm a PC gamer and I like strategy games. Developers shifting the focus from mindless corridor shooters to even a simple strategy game is certainly a good thing.
There is a very justified concern that if more RTS making companies start realising there's a console market, and they still play with things like a gamepad-- there is a strong chance these games will be, shall we say, 'dumbed down' in order to work with the limitations of the controller.. and frankly, even though there are obvious many console gamers who can appreciate a good strategy game-- it is an undisputed fact that PC games tend to be more mature; and consoles games less so. ON AVERAGE.
What needs to happen is they need to understand that the console gamers that really hunger for strategy are not children, and the games needn't be watered down to accommodate them. They also need to start adopting using keyboard and mouse.
@NTM23 @willzihang It's certainly a whole load better than GTA4 (which I thought was a pretty mediocre game)-- I haven't play GTA5 yet so I couldn't say, as I'm hoping for a PC version. I have a 360 but I don't want to play at 30- fps and aiming with a pad.
I've heard it's taken a few nods from Saint's Row, and I myself think that's a good thing-- I loved the silly arcade cartoony nature of the earlier GTA games.
