Well lets send em a message then, only buy wii specific or good games and mature games like: Manhunt 2, Mario Galaxy, Battalion Wars 2, Guitar Hero 3, Mario Strikers: Charged, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Umbrellica Chronicles, Ghost Squad, Metroid Prime 3, Super Paper Mario, Excite Truck, Medal of Honer Heroes 2, and the like. To show em we want good: gameplay, graphics, online support, mature content, motion controll, non ps2/psp ports, all features from 360/ps3 versions, online voice interactivity(friend codes NOT neaded), community, new channels(not this vote and check mii out crap real stuff like demos), Downloadable Content(coming soon anyway), non cartoony graphics All the time, hardcore games, first/third person shootsers(wiimote ir was made for these! eg. RE4 Wii, MP3:C), non miny games collections, role playing games(oblivian), less learning while you play bs, faster wii updates and channels added, and much much more.draftrough
That's what I do! Friends don't let friends play crappy ports! I don't even acknowledge them as games. And to add to it, I do give credit where it's due. I cannot play games like RE4 or Manhunt 2 without motion controls anymore. I also am going to buy Zack & Wiki, which is a great Wii EXCLUSIVE title that would be horrible on any other system.
Congratulations!!! Enjoy experiencing the real next generation of gaming, and kudos for being able to find one. With SMG right around the corner, finding a Wii is almost as difficult as finding cheap gasoline.
Co-sign from me too. I rented it out of curiousity to see what everyone's been buzzing about for like a year. It is a classic game. I'm working my budget now to buy SMG, Fire Emblem GameCube, and Zack & Wiki.
heck, twilight princess is still a good choice since you ruled out Zack & Wiki and MP3, but whatever you get be sure to check Toys R Us about a buy 2 get 1 free rumor I heard about.
I didn't think that I would like this game that much. I rented Manhunt 2 two days before I got my hands on Zack & Wiki. That was the last time I played Manhunt 2. I loaned that to my brother for the remaining time and cut my sleep to like 5-6 hours a night to have more time to find Barbaro's Treasure. The puzzles are extremely clever with the Wiimote, and the point and click movement is kind of different but still very fun.
At $40, this game is the steal of the year! Do not let people sleep on this one like many did on Okami! Missing this game is an injustice to them as a Wii owner.

I won't compare it to RE4 because both are from Capcom, but there's a strong argument to say better than TP or MP3 because it acheives its greatness with the Wiimote only.
