So if anyone pays attention to boxing/mma.. Before the Oscar de la hoya fight a few nights ago, Mayweather said UFC was a fad, and those guys couldnt box.

So Dana White (The UFC President) called him out on those comments. He told him that he would gladly put Mayweather up against Sean Shirk. The lightweight champion.

 But Mayweather completly went back on his comments after Dana White said this. Mayweather said that everything he said was just to hype up the De La hoya, Mayweather fight.

lol, in a topic I posted about his comments a little while ago. I said that he should fight Sean Shirk. And after Dana White said he would do that fight, Mayweather backed down.

I used to be worried about achievments for my games. I stopped playing Halo 2 for the most part once i got Oblivion, Saints Row, and Gears of war. Ive been back on halo 2 for over a month now. And I wont get another 360 game until madden 08.

I would really like it if Halo 3 didnt have achievements. I have a feeling theres going to be noobs playing for achievements and not playing for the game.

Although it doesnt effect me or my friends. We have a solid team. And we'll more than likely get faced against guys who are worried about the achievments. So they all argue about who gets the rockets so that they can get the rocket achievment instead of setting up an actual gameplan. And if you go into a team game by yourself. I guarentee you will hear "Let me get the sniper, i havnt gotten that achievement yet"

Floyd Mayweather Jr made comments about the UFC saying "Fighters who arents good enough for boxing, go to the UFC". And this commentator named Lampley said last night that "The skill involved in the De La Hoya vs Mayweather fight, it will take light years to see that skill in MMA"

Something along those lines. I didnt quote them directly, but its about right.

My only problem with this is... Boxing is not good anymore. Why do they insist on talking about MMA when its as popular as it is now. They fail to realize that Jui Jitsu practitioners are as technically good as Mayweathers hands. Its just in a different category. Mayweather vs Sean Shirk, or De La Hoya vs Anderson Silva. I dont know, I just dont see how they can think that boxing is harder than MMA. In boxing, you have to learn how to punch. Then learn everything around it. In MMA you need to learn to punch, kick, grapple, take downs, take down defence, punching and kicking defence.. etc.. And then learn everything around that. I like boxing. But IMO, MMA is harder to learn, and takes more skill than boxing.
