What they really need to do is stop reaching out to every single person in the gaming realm and cater to the people who are actually going to buy their stuff. The dedicated people who have played games for a while are more likely to buy their stuff simply out of loyalty and habit than someone who doesn't play many games, they will be more likely to play something simple on their phone because they already have it. You can't please everyone all the time, especially the fickle casuals who think having a wii makes them hardcore...so focus on the people who you can and make their experience awesome, who knows you might pull in some new believers along the way...:) Or better yet, stop trying to compete with phones and trying to be a facebook/twitterbot and do what you're good at, being a gaming device
Are you fuckin' serious....? The iPhone isn't for games, it's for making calls. People think that because there's 3 good games for the iPhone that's it's somehow taking over gaming. Enjoy paying an average of $70/month for your data plans on top of the 500-600 dollars for the phone itself. Which they'll make obsolete in a year or so. It's becoming the Call of Duty of phones...
I thought this was Dead Space, not Friend Space. I'm not sure how this will work out personally, the whole premise was that Isaac was alone and that made the events scary, coupled with the fact that something was trying to rip your throat out. Co-op just makes things...less scary. RE5 is a shining example.
Looks pretty good, at the outset it does look/plays alot like Uncharted, fighting scenes aside. But I guess these game studios are gonna make me poor this fall. No christmas for anyone!
I would have to say my number one request would be more original characters, less clones. If each of the characters can be customized in the next one anyway, whats the point of having characters with very similar moves? More originals would give alot more variety in how ppl can play
Wow, that prettymuch made my day! First they make MGR look more legit than the over-the-top original vid, added some stealth elements to it, and made it more interesting from a fighting perspective. But Castlevania (2) too? That's just icing on the cake. Why Konami is still one of my fav companies!
@kohle36 You're probably smart to do so given Capcoms recent track record. They have taken the use of DLC (especially on-disc) to sickening new levels, and companys should have some moderation when dealing with this new form of exploitation.
@GameSharpLad Frankly right now I'd go so far as to say that they only have good IPs, because I could care less about the games they're currently releasing, other than Dragon's Dogma. If they gave the rights of, say MegaMan, or BoF, to another company, say Konami, I'd be pleased as punch cause I know they'd do something awesome with it, and fast.
