Love the frantic fun here. Well done on this exclusive. If I hadn't already bought a 3DS just to play Monster Hunter 3U I'd consider getting a Wii-U for this and MH3U. So it's an almost system seller for me. Too bad there are so few of them if you aren't into the whole Mario/Zelda angle. Bayonetta 2 is nice but I've got more than enough similar action fests on Sony's platforms.
@abhisheknerdy20 @downloadthefile Since you said "we" instead of "I" you seem to know everybody elses opinion too? I certainly want this, I wouldn't mind Mafia III too of course. Maybe with actual open world features this time around.
I just rewatched the 30 seconds from GDC 2013 about this project and saw the above linked early prototype footage and as someone who spent his early childhood on an old farm, this style and detail just clicks for me. It's beyond the uncanny valley, my brain makes me remember bits of nature, sounds and smells of old wooden buildings, the different types of water shown. The 30 second GDC bit also shows realistic interactions with NPCs and an overall mature rather than blockbuster feel and I really hope this project get's picked up. I'd love to get lost in that kind of world. Maybe have my own little farm there.
@KidKupo Probably because this character is played by Ellen Page who starred in Juno? The girl in The Last Of Us also was inspired by Ellen but they didn't directly work with her as far as I know (was pegged to voice the character earlier in development) so they changed that character a bit later on.
PS4 too? Good, the PS3 version looked very choppy and bland compared to the PC version. Guess I'll play the PS3 open beta to get in the mood and then wait for the PS4 release.
