That concept is as bad as the "artist rendering". I'm all for arcades but not like that.

Hey, Vib Ribbon was awesome! For the time at least. I still listen to the songs occasionaly. It had to be one of the first games that created levels from your own music collection, though it was awkward with the CD changing but back in the days, what could you do. Back when the playstation had a decent music visualizer. Come on Sony, you can do better!

Wow, this looks really intriguing. Well done on the visuals and systems behind them, looking forward to what other concepts will pop up in this one so it doesn't get old after 10 minutes.

Damn that looks bad in every way. The model of the cat, rigging, animation, physics. A cat parcour game would actually be cool but this isn't one. No amount of cat memes can hide that fact.

@wakeforamate Gunlancer checking in. I'm still playing MH3U though, couch co-op with me on a 3ds and him on the Wii-u, which he only bought for that exact reason.

@beaverq Looking at psnprofiles, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption's final story trophies are obtained by about 50% and 44%. Granted psnprofiles is populated by the more dedicated gamers but the rest of the numbers might as well just be renters or accounts playing their big brother's games or whatever. These games do get completed by a lot of people and talked about with friends years later. Or pop up in a video about game worlds.

@NikIvRu Oh yeah, the good old days when leveling and exploring wasn't seen as a chore and a waste of time and there were actually interesting places to discover and people to meet or Mankrik's wife to find.

@MiltaJay Er, I took it as Infamous Second Son and Watch Dogs being similar. The ones he praised were Red Dead Redemption, GTA V and Skyrim amongst a few older ones. Stop hating indeed, or lay off the caffeine.
The issue with Watch Dogs that a lot of us have isn't hate but dissapointment because of what this game could have been and promised us early in it's development. Then it got delayed and now it's just the same formulaic, chaotic amusement park like so many other open world romps.

@zoeyleft @blkgsr Tactic's Ogre: Let's Cling together, Fire Emblem, Valkyria
Chronicles II. Final Fantasy VI and the X HD remake, I can recommend too.

@Sevenizz Ever heard of chess? So dumb and obsolete ....
There are some great turn based games out there and they often come with way more complex combat mechanics and deeper character and item customization. Real real time combat usually has to resort to button mashing and big combo counters to distract from it's simplicity and ATB systems are basically turn based ones with a lot of stress added unless you can pause to input commands. Ni No Kuni at the beginning, ugh.
And I guess you meant the royal "we" since I do buy them in the west, not just all of the Disgaea series but for example Silent Storm 2+3 which are fantastic if you have the patience for it. That my be the sign of the times though, attention spans are shortening a lot with everything on demand and always on our fingertips now.
