Sony, don't to this to All-Stars. the first game flopped because you didn't have the guts to really invest in it. Please, put it down until yor ready to make All-Stars a worthwhile franchise. Maybe you could do a PS All-Stars Road Rage game or something as a racing game, and revisit the fighting genre when your ready to make something that isn't pitiful with content. The arcade mode and fighting was alright, but it's all you had to offer and for a 1st party game, we were expecting something a little more impressive. Don't pump out something like this unless you're willing to compete.

That said, I don't want the franchise to die, I enjoy the Playstation and most of it's games. Just don't half-ass it so much next time. (half ass being an overstatement, it was more like 1/5-ass).

Lots of Sony hate here. I have the game, it was a great concept and I hope it gets revisited, but ultimate it was a poorly executed game and should have been in better hands to start with. It severely lacked content and the whole thing looked cheap and unimpressive until you were actually fighting. It just felt cheap.

The menus and everything looked like it came from a bargain bin. The arcade mode was good, but that's all it really has to offer. Sony should have given this to someone else to develop and should have had the balls to give it a more impressive budget.

@Super_Tramp @AncientDozer @ccgod @M3o5nster I don't think so. I think Microsoft does it because releasing on PC still makes them money, considering how much the make off PC's. You see, they can hope for you to buy an XBox, or a PC, they make money either way. You take the material and manufacturing costs of a console and strip it down to how much a dev makes, per XBox, it's about the same amount the make for software for every PC.

@poopinpat @SpookyHoobster Won't stop consoles from dragging people down. Because of consoles, most devs create lower quality content for consoles and just upscaling graphics a little for PC, rather than developing for PC first and then cutting content for consoles. Hell, sometimes game devs are forced (or bribed) by console devs to lower the quality of the PC games so they don't feel embarrassed by the sheer difference in quality.

Buying games has gone from owning something for a lifetime to "gaining access to content until we decide to take the servers down", then it simply doesn't exist anymore.

Of course he supports what Microsoft was going to do. It would mean more money for him. Those guys are going to "tell you" that the future of software is all digital and physical copies won't be worth anything. But it's up to the consumers if we buy it.

They don't care about what's better for us, they just want to maximize revenue. In order to keep things reasonable, we have to let them know that enforcing stricter rules isn't winning our support. You don't see Movie companies forcing people to activate their DVDs? why should games be any different?

Sony and Nintendo are gonna have to step up their game. After all, now with Playstation All-Stars, SSB finally has some competition. (Yes I said competition, not a rip-off. Fact is SSB created it's own sub-genre. How long did you expect a great sub-genre to stay this small?)

Some people just don't understand that this isn't a Mortal Kombat game... I'm a Mortal Kombat fan, and believe it or not, I accept this game for what it is, a DC Fighter. And what is up with these guys hating on Mortal Kombat? Did they even play the new game? Did they not try it competitively? Or maybe they should do what street fighter done and pump out the same game for 25 years with slightly revised graphics.
