Not a huge fan of football games or the DBZ series, but you can't go wrong with GH3.

Wow, that is indeed overpriced. But ya, like the previous post, its due to supply and demand. If people really like a game, its popular, they maintain its price in a certain range. But they do get out of control with it sometimes. I went to Microplay a while ago, wanting to pick FF7 (I beat it while I borrowed it from a friend and wanted to get my own copy), so expecting no more than about $35, I see a whopping $80 price tag. That game is legendary and amazing, but $80 in the era of next gen consoles and games, no dice.

Man, I definately got to get that. I spent about $20 on MGS1, $15 MGS2, and about $45 MGS3. So $80. I have the original MGS2 and MGS3, so Subsistence and Substance is a great pickup and an extra copy of MGS1 too (my discs got some minor/medium scratches, so I don't want it to crap out on me one day). That is a sweet deal for $30.

I don't think any of the Tony Hawks have been good after THUG1 or THUG2, the series just lost its touch after those. I bought American Wasteland...and I was pretty disappointed, I finished it but that was it. It's probably gathering dust now on my shelf. The Tony Hawks (up until THUG1) are still the best though, IMO. Classics. If a friend had Proving Ground I would try but based on reviews and gameplay, looks mediocre.

It's a bomb! Get out of the house! Hehe, to be honest, I'm not sure I never had this problem for my PS2. Maybe something is inside the disk tray or the PS2, hitting on the disk or something else inside, thats my only guess.

Looked around recently, still no PS1 versions under a $30 Buy Now price, sucks. Either bid on it and hope to get for a resonable prize or get it for PC. I'm sure your PC is not that bad that it can't play it, the game came out in like 2001 for PC so ya... If all else fails in the end, try to buy it off someone, search the pawn shops, and wait for an oppurtunity. Hope you get it though, great game.

I know what you guys mean, PS1 extinction around here too. :( It's impossible to find any PS1 games in any common stores around here, so if anything its pawn shops or sometimes a lucky garage/yard sale. But you gotta admit it is a golden time to be picking up games you missed out on before, cheap cheap prices if you know where to look. :D

I believe the Wii and PS2 have Metalhead and Elroy Budvis, and the 360 and PS3 have Grim Reaper and The God of Rock. Ya I know it sucks, especially about Grim Reaper, that guy rocked you till you were dead.

Practice, practice, practice. You've probably heard it a million times, but that's the key. Keep trying to improve on the parts you do the worst, and trying to get as far as you can without missing notes. The Practice feature will become your best friend. :) Also try mastering the techniques of Hammer-Ons and Pull-Offs. Hard and Extreme difficulty (if you wish to try those and complete them) rely on them heavily, and without the technique down fairly well, your strumming hand will be cramping up and wearing out pretty darn fast.
