I've played Guild Wars for the past 3 years. It says i've accumulated 3,723 hours, its hard to say how much of that is actualy game play. Even if you knocked off 1000hours for idling (max) thats ALOT of hours.
If there are these issues with thier reviews then maybe they should do something about fixing it. Whether its investing in some new game critics or just the way they go about reviewing the game (more than one person review it?). The reviews there are supposed to help people choose games, if people can't take them seriously then there isn't much point in them.
I think that i've got the ability to pick up games quickly to a relatively alright level. I don't think I have natural talent though and don't think I will ever excel in gaming. I can still Rawr like a lion though, i'm a natural at that!
I recall some years ago buying C&C Red Alert: Retaliation for PS1, I absolutley loved this game! I was suprised when seeing review scores between this and the normal Red Alert that it had lost multiple points. I'll admit they hadn't changed all that much in the game, added some special units and missions (more like an expansion but in the form of a brand new game). So i'm not saying they should be gaining points for thier creativity but should the game be loosing points? The game was just as good as its predecessor except with a bit more. The games came out so close togethor as well, it was almost liked a revised game (like the mk3 umk3 scenario).
I think i'm just biased for Retaliation as it was one of the greats I grew up with :P
Mate, Final Fantasy VII is sweet! Have you played Crisis Core? If you havent you should, absolutly amazing game that really gives you some great background to FFVII.
Influential with great plot and at the time great visuals.
