Right...its now just over 4 months till Xmas AGAIN and, apart from MGS 4 (which is absolutely awesome), I haven't bought a single game for the PS3 in 8 months.

Whats the line-up this year for Xmas releases? I know its not going to be GT5 as thats rumoured to be put back till 2010!!!!

I am still waiting to use this "uber" console for anything more than an upscaling DVD.

(ps for those of you that went on last year about HAZE not being rushed, what happened guys?)

Oblivion all the way. I'm 70+ hours into it, have completed the main quest ages ago yet there are still more side quests to be done.

It took me 23 hours to complete Mass Effect and I did every side quest, got the majority of achievements and the only way i can get the rest is to start the game again. Considering this was Bioware's "free-roaming" RPG, it was extremely linear.

This is only MY opinion and you areall entitled to yours.

I don't expect half assed unfinished garbage. What I do expect from a next-gen game console that is now OVER 12 months old is some bloody next gen games.

As I have said previously, I have 4 games for this system. I have about 12 games for the Wii and about 20 games for the 360 although i've probably owned over 100 games for it as I trade games in when I've completed them so that I can make my next purchase.

The average lifespan of a console is only 6 years I believe (before the manufacturer decides to launch there next console) so it won't be too many more Xmas's before we are being lured away from next(current?) gen consoles into purchasing the next, next gen console!

2 Christmas's

Got Warhawk, Resistance, Motorstorm and Formua One.

R&C not my cup of tea, neither is Singstar.

I cannot see the reasons behind the arguement "Dont buy the games on 360 cuz they are £5 cheaper". The games are identical on the 360 and the PS3. The 360 has a fully established online community and acheivements. What is there to tempt me to buy it for the PS3?

Now, before you fan boys start, I own a PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and a kick-ass PC so I am not biased.

I am a UK gamer so this MIGHT not apply to anyone outside the UK.

So, i'll start:

Yet again, Sony has missed the boat again this Xmas. GT5, MGS, HAZE... to name a few. Where are they? Where are all the PS3 exclusive games? What are Sony and their partner companies doing?

I am trying so hard to enjoy the £300 console that I purchased but so far its sitting under my TV playing the part of an upscaling DVD player. I have 4 games for the machine that I purchased with it and THAT IS IT. Nothing else has arrived on the system since that has interested me. Everything else that I have purchased has been for either the Xbox 360 (either 360 exclusives or they are the same games as the PS3 except that they are cheaper on the 360 and you get acheivements for playing them) or the Wii (ingenious use of the controller and a system that is putting the FUN back into gaming)

Unfortunately, the expiry date on the PS3 receipt has passed so I cannot return the system to the store. This is something that I would never have considered in the past with any other console I have owned (and I have owned most of them)

Come on Sony, play the game.
