@Kreten1 @stratfender89 @BodyBag22 Right. I guess top 10 lists are similar, but it's how the content is evaluated and presented is what's most important.
I think things like resolutions and hardware and the services that are included with each console are legitimate reasons to inform consumers, because it's things that they actually have. Whether a journalist tells us this is good or bad to me is a bad thing because we as readers can decide what fits our needs best.
So, if fanboyism/personal bias bleeds into these articles, I feel it discredits them as journalism because it makes the article more like an opinionated blog, an advertisement or a smear campaign.

I guess my pet peeve right now is Gamespot's journalism. They had an article about why you should wait to purchase a PS4 before it came out.
However, if there are articles published about physical issues that are affecting consumers, I think these are legitimate reasons to make consumers wary of problems that the first generation consoles have. I find that to be good journalism since it's based on facts rather than opinions.

The title of this article is misleading. I feel the title makes the hardware look bad and then ironically, after the next story is a positive feature for the Xbox One. I'm sensing a bias.
Good stuff Feedbackula. It's sad to see Ms. Petit attacked on a personal level for representing an outlying audience that still plays GTA. Like you mentioned, the score is near flawless and the demographic she represents deserves to have their opinions expressed like everyone else's opinion.
This is a democracy after all so both voices have the right to be heard, but at the same time, one group should probably articulate themselves a bit better in order to get a point across rather than attack someone on a level rivaling bigotry. When doing so the amount of control some groups demand over one's free speech and freedom to press rivals a political party that gained prominence in Germany in the 1930s and 1940s.
So, I hope that Gamespot doesn't promote censorship within its site by silencing such voices, but at the same time what can they do in situations like these when a reviewer is attacked for expressing her opinion fairly and professionally?
@SleepingDogs2 Why because there's things in it that she doesn't like? I think it's a valid argument to knock off points because of something you don't like. After all, every review is subjective.
@bledsoe45sbc It will probably be the best selling game of the system due to Zelda's popularity but since it's a remake, I don't think it will make people want to buy the Wii U.
