Sorry but that comment was stupid. Microsoft is scared of Sony with good reason. They rushed their console to the market to get the jump on Sony and now that's costing them a billion dollars. They are trying to buy exclusives so that they can make their console the go to choice.
I understand their reasoning behind all this, Sony pretty much killed everything in site last generation and they are trying to make sure that does not happen this time around.
In time we shall see. Personally I don't see Microsoft selling more than Sony, but that's my opinion.
I had a 360 and traded it in and bought a PS3. I don't hate the 360, actually I feel it's a pretty good console. Unreliable at times yeah but when it's working it's nice. I just felt the PS3 will have a bit more to offer throughout it's lifespan than the 360 does.
I just feel that people jump right before the PS3 actually hits it's stride. Sony is getting the same exact games as the Xbox is (minus BioShock and Halo) and with all those exclusives in 08 (and a few in late 07) it would be foolish to just quit on a console that is not even a year old yet. Trust me you will not be disappointed at this time next year if you are a PS3 owner. If you have the money buy both, if not stick it out because the PS3 is just about ready to unleash some amazing games on you.
But it's your money and you will do what you want with it. Just don't say I didn't warn you ;).
As for the CoD4 comparison screens, yeah it's an early build so one cannot make judgement calls off of that. It does look promising though does it not?
