american developers seem pretty split, just about everything now is multiconsole between 360 and ps3....each having a handfull of exclusives for each.

The 360 has one stronghold - and that's America, and it's still being outsold by the PS2, and closely trailed by the more expensive PS3. This situation will keep improving as the prices come down, and the big games come out - the PS3 has the true system sellers coming out in 2008, and there's no doubting this.

GT5, Socom(s), Killzone 2, MGS4 and the various other games coming out in 2008 really IMO will start the change towards the PS3. You might disagree with this, well, I disagree with you - so, we can agree to disagree.

The Ps3 is selling as well as the 360 did during its first year, even against the competition, so i would say the PS3 is pretty much catching up. In fact, with microsoft $4bn in the red, they are the only one of the big 3 who have never successfully broken the gaming market,so iwould say MS have a lot of catching up to do in that respect.

You know BioShock was in development for about 10 times as long as WarHawk.
WarHawk is hardly a console seller is it, whether MS decided to release ot earlier or later wouldn't have made the slightest difference on PS3 sales.

You don't need a 360 as long as you have a PC...now I know I'll get flamed with the price difference on everything, 360 exclusives and all that...

But owning a PS3 and a good PC I've yet to think to myself even on a random wish that I wanted a 360. OMG Bioshock!! Just as, if not more fun on PC with keyboard/mouse. OMG GEARS OF WOROOR!! While I'm not into it, still better on PC.

About the only thing I have been wowed by is Eternal Sonata...so I guess the score for me is 360 = 1....everything else = more than 1.

If warhawk is better why are there more preorders sold already for a game that is not evan out yet. Than a game that is out. tbombrocks

Halo 2 for PC probably outsold Warhawk as well, and that was ahorrible port which proved even Halo can be done badly. Sales and hype mean nothing when it comes to quality of play. Warhawk is a proven good game, and as of yet Halo 3 isn't.

Sorry but that comment was stupid. Microsoft is scared of Sony with good reason. They rushed their console to the market to get the jump on Sony and now that's costing them a billion dollars. They are trying to buy exclusives so that they can make their console the go to choice.

I understand their reasoning behind all this, Sony pretty much killed everything in site last generation and they are trying to make sure that does not happen this time around.

In time we shall see. Personally I don't see Microsoft selling more than Sony, but that's my opinion.
